Noticed the last thread is almost full

They did a fashion segment on those types of colour on a programme here the other day and the people in the studio realised they were all wearing similar shades. It was funny. Reminded me of of an office I used to work in where everyone would regularly turn up wearing the same colour.

Apparently he kept Dan waiting to go on court which fired him up!

Rafa needs to watch his back

Rublev is looking exhausted- if he wins with match- and it looks like he might- I'm not sure how much he will have in the tank against Rafa. -And given how ruthless Rafa was today, Rublev would need to be fully fit.

Ah I missed all the excitement this afternoon! I watched a bit more of the Goffin match, then I had to go out - unacceptable!

So I missed all of the Rafa and Djok matches. What a win for Dan though. We always knew he was a top player! Good on him!

Looking forward to catching a bit more play tomorrow hopefully. David v Dan should be good!

I've a feeling Rafa's comment on the match today was a bit of a Rafa-ish 'lost in translation' moment, because I can't imagine him really meaning 'oi, Grigor, you played a shit match today, mate' .

Djok ' super sportsman' never credits opponents.

I agree that Djok, (and Serena) has a tendency to always have excuses to hand. I wait for them. When Djok was flexing his hand, at the start of the match (the commentators said it might have been because he was cold) my first thought was 'oh, he's going to have an injured hand, if he loses' .

I don't think there's any way to dress up "he played a bad match"

It wasn't a great match though was it - from Grigor's point of view. . I hope he gets his tooth sorted.
