So Jude was just given a course then, rather than the canapé, I must have misheard.

Had no idea about his wife, and he's been so cheerful and lovely all through.

Yeah, he mentioned about his wife on the SW round, it’s so sad.
They’ve switched from canapés to a palate cleanser but he’s still not in the competition running sadly

I think so, and I don't really see the equivalency when it was to replace egg.

I thought that about the asparagus too. Two consecutive confit egg yolks after a coddled egg… good job Jude was sandwiched. Not convinced one of those egg yolks would have survived the funky bike either

It really has and ending with champagne under a lovely sunset. I'm so glad it ended so lovely after the horrible judging along the way.

Wonder why there wasn't a cheese course, wot with Britain producing such fabulous cheeses?
Written by a cheese lover/pud and chocolate hater. The dog biscuits pud would have gone to the dogs, oh! I forgot, you don't give chocolate to dogs...
(Why don't you give choc to dogs, btw?)
