Daisy obviously knows this and is trying to get her hands on it. I wonder what the plan is. She’s not related to Jenny so I don’t think she would inherit if Jenny died. So is she going to convince Jenny to sign it over?

Yes, that must be it! Because she's totally unsuitable for Corrie, and she's lowered the tone even further. There are now so many characters that make me really cringe so much I can't bear to watch them on screen - Fizz (obvs), the entire Aggie family, but especially her husband, and especially when he gets irate and starts bellowing! Billy and his godawful gleaming facial expressions, Gail and her utter ridiculousness in every single way, Gary... the list goes on!

You’re AMAZIN’, you deserve more’ - why doesn’t Jenny say, ‘Actually, he was the only person who gave me a chance after I had a breakdown and stole a child - and even though he had an affair with an old trollop, I mowed her down when drunk and he offered to take the rap’? It’s not like any of it’s a secret.

Yes, but even further back than that, why is this person who Jenny hasn't seen for years suddenly allowed to live in her house? And to sort of take over? I mean Jenny is more bolshy than that, surely? At the first rude comments about Jonny she'd have said no you can't bloody live here and keep insulting me!

Pub is hard work no one ever is cleaning the bogs or picking up fag ends from the garden. Or dragging stuff up and down from the cellar. Let’s just sit behind bar and do our nails and plan our next girly spa day shopping trip or meal out. BORING

Off topic but I’ve been watching really old episodes on YouTube and I read the bio for Elsie Tanner last night on wiki. Christ was that a depressing read!! I also didn’t realise Eileen is a second cousin of Elsie’s.

What do we even know about Daisy? Is she supposed to be 30? Has she ever worked? Studied? Done anything? Or is she supposed to be 21 and not had to do a days work in her life yet? Normally you know life story of someone in 5min

It’s like they’re getting a different person to write each episode and just giving them a basic outline of some of the ongoing storylines, hence why some of it seems so repetitive while other storylines seem to have been completely forgotten.

I think it's always the worst it has ever been! Possibly ever since the ken, mike Deirdre love triangle.
I do enjoy it though, with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.

She was married to Cherie Blair's father, Tony Booth. I remember her being a real character - along the original 'tough women of Corrie' lines.

^^ This absolutely. They are given a sheet showing the basics which is why, apart from being repetitive, all the little details is missed. Sooooo agree.
