In all honesty, it’s been pretty poor lately. But I have seen a spoiler for next week that makes me very happy.

God it's a breath of fresh air having no Paul in the episode.

Who in their right mind would give that sort of note to a little boy. For starters is he even old enough to read it? Does he have a phone??

I’m not sure. I’m a bit confused. Kim said something about Jamie and gabby being a little family and gabby said they needed a baby to have a family and they were some months away. I think I’ve just misinterpreted it. She obviously meant the baby won’t be here for a few months.

Tonight was so stupid with all that Nate blood stuff. I was almost shouting at the telly every time he made that silly noise.

Conversely Stillcoughingandlaughing I've seen a spoiler that fills me with dread. Yet another character I can't stand making a return

Another vote for “ Yey, No Paul”. Sad times when that is a marker for a decent episode.

I went back to watch the bits I missed. A good episode where we got to see actual people and families instead of cartoon characters. Loved the Laurel/Jai scenes and Jimmy/Nicola. Even Jamie was decent and funny (maybe there's hope for him to be more like Chris ). It shows that with decent writing and no deadweight characters Emmerdale could be good again.
