New thread ahead of a new week

The good thing about tonight's hour long (weeks long) episode was no Paul or Mandy.
The bad thing was too much Jimmy - he's awful. Poor Angel(ica).

Aww I love Jimmy. He's one of the good guys. Angel is beautiful and aptly named.

I want Charity to win the lottery and tell the rest of them to get stuffed apart from Marlon. Chas is such a pain saying she's more in charge than him even though it's supposed to be shared ownership.

This has maybe been said already but I keep seeing Juliette in a cloak and wig. Was she a barrister in some other TV show?

I've been puzzling over who she reminds me of and I came to the conclusion she's a cross between Glenda Jackson and Katherine Hepburn.

@JaneJeffer I can't stand Jimmy! He's either henpecked misery-guts or over the top badly acted angry man. I might be influenced by the fact that I saw him IRL once and he was striding around the city centre in a floor length brown leather coat with an 'I'm well known you know' air about him.

Who is Jimmy's other child? I know the mum is Kelly, but what's the child's name?

I did enjoy Nicolas comment tonight to Jimmy when he was whingeing about his life being neat. Have 3 children with 3 different people and your life cannot be neat. It’s totally unrealistic that his life has been so nicely packaged up until now. Two mothers disappear and the other takes the children on as her own? Never happens. Jimmy has been spoiled until now and needs to accept his son has a mother.

I completely forgot until tonight that only Angel is Nicola's. She's done not bad by Jimmy, for all her faults!

Yes she’s the last person in the village you would expect to accept raising two other women’s children but she loves Jimmy that much she did it.

I wonder if Kelly will ever come back. Jimmy is lucky he's had his children to himself for so long. All the other children in the village are moved from pillar to post regularly and have stepparents galore. Having said that, I don't like Juliette and don't want her sticking around. I have enough characters to get on with hating for now thanks. And if they split Jimmy and Nicola up I will be raging.

I’m a few days behind, but has Jai had Botox/filler? He looks suspiciously smooth...

Hasn't it been blissful to have a completely Paul and Mandy free week (so far - better not speak too soon).

If they just disappeared without any further storylines, nobody would miss them or care

Totally agree @RaraRachael, it's been so much better without them. Hopefully we haven't talked it up and they appear again tonight!

Funny that Cain didn’t mention the bloody great hearse parked in the farmyard

It seemed to me that Cain stopped off for a haircut in between leaving Nate at the hospital and coming home to Moira. He was looking even more handsome when he got it.

I haven't laughed so much at an episode in ages. Great to have Faith back.
