I agree, Carla used to be the smart and sparkly business woman, wearing lovely clothes and living in a glamorous apartment with a flashy car and swishy hair, now she shlomps about the street hunched over in a massive black baggy cardi dragging her feet along the cobbles with the weight of the world on her shoulders and lodging in Roy Croppers box room.

Poor Debbie! As a spinster of this parish it’s depressing that Kev gets to the play the “I kept going for my kids” card. And agreeing no one would care about looking for Debbie or at her bed side. How depressing. I’m sure we could have had a clue and miss the ty yoga scene. Just a she’s not dead would be sufficient.

I’m guessing he was down the dog n duck and someone will be along with his watch or phone he left behind on the bar.

What’s supposed to have happened to Bill Webster? I know the actor is dead, but I don’t think the character was ever killed off. I never really understood why, when they first brought Debbie back, they killed off some never-before-mentioned auntie instead of Bill. It would have been a much bigger and better storyline.

Is this just me? Please think before starting another series of comments making fun of the looks of the actor playing Paul. It isn’t fun; it’s cruel and posters would be jumped on in other circumstances. Ironic to mention the trolls film in relation to this.

Errrrmmmm... no it isn't.

They're quite common, aren't they, broken noses in RL men? My dad had one, my ExH too, and my DP does. I think it's good to see some realism on the screen, and I find it endearing.

Unlike Summer, the 23 year old school child, or Holy Billy and his bewildering archdeaconry.

In real life, Billy - a vicar who had openly had three long-term male partners and a stint in rehab - would probably be hidden away in an obscure parish and told not to make any waves. The chances of him being promoted to archdeacon are slimmer than your average catwalk model.

Yes, I imagine Billy would be the C of E version of Father Ted Crilly, shunted to a tent on Rockall to minister to the puffins, working his way up to a vestry annexe on Lundy.

I'm looking forward to seeing the archdeaconry, poor Paul. Billy is very stupid, more father Dougal. I'm hoping Ed's brother is played by the same actor, leading to hilarious misunderstandings.

This is where the pandemic makes itself known i think. Of course, you'd rush over and start shaking them and shouting their names.

When Abby got the fridge/freezer door open and then laid there wailing, where was Faye? Craig? The other copper with Craig? Did they just stand back and let Abby breakdown? They didn't think to rush in and see the frozen victims!

Craig and the fridge was bizarre. They magically appeared and yet despite there potential being two dead bodies, a crime scene and evidence need to be saved. They just decided to let Abbie discover potential murder scene all by herself!

To be fair Craig was at the airport ten minutes later, so perhaps he’d already set off!

Does anyone else remember that Kevin and Debbie have another sibling? I can’t remember his name but Bill went to Germany with a wife/girlfriend in the 80s and had a child, don’t think he’s been mentioned since!
