Know nothing about this but have found some C5 original dramas quite good!

For anyone who like me is still trying to find something actually worth watching.

Good grief that was a bad ending. Implausible just moved into hilarious. The script writer must have been on drugs to have written that. What a load of tosh.

I found the mother very distracting, I kept thinking "What's Delia Smith doing there?!"

Why was Jodie all arsey about her dad dying, and his funeral, was that explained?

Her Dad always blamed Jodie for him drowning.
That's why they fell out.
He should have questioned his son a bit more obviously!

I felt sorry for Jodie in the end. She lost her son, her ex-husband left her for her best friend, she's lost her father & now her brother. No wonder she lost the plot

Why did Daniels dad take Jodie to the building site? What was he going to do to her?

What was the relevance of the gardening?

Why isn't Jodie in prison?

Did Tom's dad and the blonde Kate know about the drowning? Is that how they were so sure it wasn't him and asked for the second test? But then if so how come the lawyer brother pretended Daniel was Tom to them?

He did have the ' mark' though so I can see why she thought he was Tom.
Other than that the rest was all very silly and far fetched and she would serve time in real life surely?

That was a such a crap and implausible ending. My 12 year old DD could have thought of a better ending. None of it made any sense. Also why were Jodies brother and mum so friendly with her ex husband who had the affair. I didn’t get that bit at all and who was Daniels dad on the phone to when he was worrying about the DNA test? I agree the comedy baddies scared off with a chainsaw and then the brother not admitting to Tom drowning for fear of losing his job offer, just all an absolute load of bollocks!

What was the relevance of the gardening

Can anyone summarize the last episode? I saw the end of episode 3 where they revealed that the child was hers. What happened in episode 4?

Imagine if Jodie now got together with Mark. "So, how did you guys meet?"

Completely bonkers & a bit of a let down.
Why was the ex husband & ex friend at the lake at the end, as it was their shenanigans that set the whole thing off causing Tom to drown.
I thought that Jodie, Mark & Daniel would walk off into the sunset together.
The best coat Oscar goes to the gang boss. (only because I had a long black leather coat like that once)

'The Vengeful Gardeners' 😂 I'd definitely watch that.
Rupert P-J & Jill Halfpenny could be the DCIs investigating a cold case serial killer who murders his victims with dodgy coats.
However they require the help of the vengeful gardeners to get to the bottom of things. You could throw Keeley Hawes, Suranne Jones, Katherine Kelly, Robert Carlyle & Sean Bean as the victims of the Coat Killer.
Sarah Lancashire would be unmasked as the killer who had previously worked as an outdoor fashion buyer at Debenhams.
Her motive: all her victims had returned their coats to Debenhams after they'd realised their fashion mistake.
The finale would see Sarah Coat Killer Lancashire hiring the Vengeful Gardeners to landscape her garden but they discover her secret & there is an electric garden tool stand-off whilst waiting for the police to arrive to arrest her.

Only read the first few posts as I don't want to read any spoilers.

Thanks for this recommendation. I don't really follow what's on C5, but this looks good for a bit of escapism.
