Are there any actual drowning scenes so far? I would like to watch this from the drama perspective but I can't watch even a hint of drowning as it is too triggering.

I think the list of implausible plot lines/twists is longer than the actual plot

So she bought a fake DBS; worked in a safeguarding environment with no DBS; bought a fake passport; abducted a kid from a positon of trust; tried to take a kid abroad using said fake passport; ... No comeback?

The 'gangsters' were hilarious. especially the immacumately dressed teenage boys sitting around a fire drinking bottles of beer

The basic story could have made a really good drama, but this wasn't it.

I didn't think it would be able to pull off being worse than Finding Alice. But they smashed it.

He could have forced that door open eventually.
Maybe Jodie will buy him a new guitar and throw in a few lessons to help with the trauma! They could write a song about their ordeal.

what was the significance of Jason taking daniel to the clear bit of water? did i miss that bit coz the next scene i remember with daniel was him locked in a shed??

I think Jason had second thoughts about killing Daniel there and then, hence why he shut him in the shed.

I think just until Taniel's Not Dad, on the basis of one dodgy DNA test and zero evidence or indeed any case for the prosecution whatsoever, was sent down for twenty years.

I wouldn't have have hung about listening to his confession , I would have been out looking for that poor boy! The mark on his face wasn't explained either was it?

Ade's bullies, including the Evil Mr Big with his wholly convincing East European accent, and his 5 heavily tooled-up henchmen (who looked like the bungling baddies in a Home Alone sequel) were all scared off by one chainsaw - obviously.
