Cant find a link to it on ITV but it is 2 years later than the first series and our dodgy heroine has been demoted. And then ...

I re-watched series 1 recently, and whilst it didn't grip me like other dramas have, I quite enjoyed it. Don't really like the central character, but I suppose that's all part of it.

I didnt realise episode 1 was already on itv hub, it was not on earlier when i checked? There is an actor in this series who i cant warm to, so i hoping they aren't a massive part of it

I preferred the first episode of this series to the last series. I only really liked the first series for spotting familiar places! DS’s Sea Cadet building featured.

DH was driving behind one of the vehicles and is desperately hoping to feature in it 😂 apparently though, the car was on the back of a flat bed truck pretending to drive, I wonder why that was?

Does anyone remember DS Lisa Armstrong's husband from series 1.

I have no memory - had they already split up?

Also seem to see more and more actors who were once central characters now only getting fleeting roles in current dramas.

eg Stephen Tompkinson in this series - but maybe he will be in loads o flash backs!

They seem to have a lot of bigger name actors this year. They even have the obligatory Game of Thrones actor 😂.

The do that when filming car scenes. I learnt it was so they don’t cause an accident when concentrating on their lines and acting.

I just watched the first episode and thought it was good - already preferring it to the first series.
Mark the brother and his wife (who was Zoe in Casualty - you know who I mean) know more than they're letting on I think.
No, we didn't see her husband in first series, they had already split - hence her having the one night stand (well up against the pub wall!) with the twins' step dad.

Loved the first series of this. I think Steven’s dad has something to hide he seemed on edge at the bbq. I also think these more to the situation with Lisa and her ex

The head police guy will always be Dan from Mount Pleasant for me, so whenever i hear him say Lisa I think Sally Lindsey is going to appear

@Dontbetardy ahhh thanks for that! It was strange as all the police vehicles had their Police sings crossed out with tape. I guess so people didn’t think they were real 😂.
