I love Evelyn too Pebbledashery, I've always been a huge fan of her and her late husband Jack Rosenthal. Some People on here have said in the past that she's not very nice in real life but I choose not to believe that, thank you very much.

The mask thing is really annoying, they're hardly setting a good example ! Why did Evelyn remove her mask in the shop?! This happens all the time masks on and off, also why do they talk about going to the bistro, northern quarter, out for a meal etc when they are all closed ! The writers could at least try and keep it realistic.

I think they film at least two months in advance. I can’t remember what the situation in Manchester was, but I know London we’d barely entered tier 3 before we were into tier 4 - and then full lockdown a fortnight later. It must be a nightmare trying to script anything in advance at the moment.

She worked in one of Dev’s other shops, in the days when he had a chain of them. I can’t remember her name, but she was played by the policewoman from The Thin Blue Line, if you remember that.

I wonder why they decided to change Todd into a sly,smirking villain. He's supposed to love Billy and Summer, but was happy for the house to be trashed, and didn't seem to feel guilty and upset by Summer's accident.

Dev had a fling with one of his shop assistants, Ravinder, and Amber was the result of that. She lived with Dev and Sunita, but didn't get on with Sunita. From what I can remember she was infatuated with David Platt, and tried to split him and Tina up, but this is all a bit hazy as it was so long ago.

I liked Amber. They should bring her back and get rid of the irritating, pointless Daisy.

I hope they don’t push Alina on Ty. Her squeaky voice gets on my nerves, she has a very tight way of speaking, if that makes sense, like she’s speaking while barely moving her mouth.
