I can’t believe how much everyone cries in these shows. The guy who organised a dinner (paid for and facilitated by the tv team) and the wife cried. I mean - it’s dinner! It’s nice and all but.........

I looked it up and found an interview with her mum. Won’t link it cos of spoilers, but the jist is that her mum was a victim of domestic abuse from the dad (big surprise) and raised five kids in quite a chaotic sounding environment. She insists they weren’t estranged before MAFS and the family tried to hide the wedding from her. She’s had drug and alcohol problems, so sounds like there’s two sides to that story.

The dad comes across as a real Disney dad type. Was a shit during their childhood and is now trying to make up for it by being over the top. Yuck.

She hasn't seen him for a year so not sure how that is very close unless they talk all the time on the phone!

The sliding onto sweaty paws was when Nic grabbed Cyrells hands at the altar. She was insisting he shouldn’t because of her sweaty hands and he did it anyway. A little gesture but quite sweet.

Ning at the moment seems to be fairly set on what she wants. It was a play on the lady’s not for turning.

I actually really like virgin boy, and I think it's quite brave (odd?) that he's being so open about it. I wonder if he's so open in RL about it or whether it's only because of this show, and whether he actually wanted it to be a public thing, or did they pressure him into it being his "thing".

Non Moving Coupon looks so much like a Chinese friend of mine. And she has the exact same expressionless face. It has fascinated me for years how her expression is the same whether she's serious or having the best time.

Sam and Lizzie are just not meant to be. Her terrifying stary eyes are enough to cause problems.

Weird conversation between Sam and her mum, mum swing seeds of doubt from moment one!!!

Lizzy was full on and I felt sorry for Sam until he started about how she was ‘bigger’ than his usual type and he’d need to get her out running.

I felt the opposite, she was being such a diva especially about her make up and then said Sam looked chubby from behind, shes obviously all about people looks, so when Sam started judging her on her looks I thought it was a bit of karma for her.

Must have been humiliating to watch it back though when Sam's saying he doesn't want sex on the first night and she's there in her Ann summers red underwear, gurning at him 😂

Every season there seems to be an annoying instatype who cries about how they just want a lovely down to earth man. Then they find them a nice normal dude and they just spend the whole time moaning and rolling their eyes. Why not just be honest about what you want?

I dislike how the experts often place the women as emotional support humans. Like the slightly dull lady they stuck with virgin boy to bring out his confidence. That’s not really her job. Or in the last season when they stuck Jo with that dud of a bloke because it’d bring him out of his shell. What do the women get from it?
