I felt sorry for both Ning and her husband

I always find these things fascinating. Heidi is also way more attractive than I thought she was previously. Funny how first impressions can change so much.
I didnt really mind her husband. Very cocky, but I'm hoping that's just a front, as his speech was really nice and he has said some lovely things about her. If he was as cocky as he makes out to be, I don't think he'd be so complimentary about Heidi, and he'd be looking for a Barbie doll maybe.
(I know I'm wrong and he'll be a total bell end, but one can but hope)

Ming - hmm, I'm a bit word vomity too, so I see where she's coming from. I still self sabotage despite being married for 20 years. I still push DH away 😕 It's shit and I hear myself and I continue to do it regardless. It doesn't mean I wouldn't/shouldn't do a show like this. Having 3 young kids - that's a different kettle of fish, though. It just adds too much pressure on too many people, imo

I thought tonight’s episode was brilliant. The two matches were excellent.

I really warmed to Heidi and Mike. I think they are well suited and I hope they make it.

I also loved Mark and Ning. She is so beautiful and I think she has a good heart. I was very sad she was being so silly, making jokes which were a bit cruel and really meant to push him away and keep him at bay. Well done for her lovely bridesmaids telling her she could push him away.

Ning hugging his mum was lovely. He took the three kids in his stride, excellent.

Maybe that is the norm, but not my experience of wedding speeches usually. Plus in a regular wedding the groom and bride know each other and each other's family so a bit of fun and sillyness is OK. But when your best mate marries a total stranger surely saying something that may offend a woman and her family you have never met is just crap.

To me it seems the friends sometimes don't want to lose their best bud/drinking bro whatever so they don't care what they say.

Destinysdaughter if the protectiveness was a general thing and women/sisters were also protective of little brothers etc I would understand it more.

But to me it just feels like an Alpha male type thing, and all feeds into the 'honour' idea of women somehow carrying the virtue of the family.

Mark wants a woman to settle down with (maybe have a family) and is matched with someone of 38. Which is a tad late to start trying to have kids.

And I don't think anyone with young kids should be on this show. Jon and the nice lady last time, fine with adult kids, but not young ones. How is she managing 8 weeks away from them to do this (assume mum or ex) just feels wrong to decide on a marriage without experiencing the kids. But also best to not meet the kids too early!

I can't remember all the names yet but I think they've mismatched some of them.
The spiritual guy seems nice but it's such a huge part of his life I think he needed someone with similar beliefs and lifestyle. I liked the lady he married but she seemed an odd choice for him.
I think Ning is lovely but as others have said too fragile for the show. She should've got some therapy maybe and worked on herself first.
I don't like the arrogant guy (Mark?) He thinks way too much of himself and is definitely not as special as he thinks he is.
The farmer guy was a terrible match with his wife.

I really like Jules and her husband, they seemed a great match. She is very Christina Hendricks.
The farmer and blonde model were a terrible match h, he was so coarse. Even at the alter when he said he was shitting his pants. I have a potty mouth at the best of times, but not at a wedding. Not for me. Her brother was handsome.
The brothers are so protective, the first one was kind of an arse though. He seemed to be trying some mad mafioso nonsense. Man flu? No cancer actually. Idiot.
I thought the arrogant bald guy was quite handsome, she was attractive. Why didn't she get her roots done for her wedding?!
Ning made for very uncomfortable viewing, I really felt for her husband. I think I would have walked out if a man did that to me. In fact if a man did that to a woman, he would get utterly slated. I am surprised anyone with young kids does this show. In the early ones, you couldn't apply if you had kids (maybe I have imagined that).
The manic lady looked great at her wedding, I would have been quite similar to her about Dino. It made me smile.

Thought Ming was such a diva last night and that’s the kindest word I can think of, really horrible, and the, you just want to touch me , when he was trying v hard to be a gentleman was just awful, if I been the grooms family I would have no time for her at all. He seems lovely and she is really not I’ll wait and see but not convinced.
Mike is v handsome but couldn’t love anyone more than himself is he on this for a modelling contract? I really wanted to like Mike because I fancy him but turns out he’s just a terrible, shallow person. Heidi deserves loads better.
