I wish I felt more empathy for Faye - she just irritates me.

And Uggs - my proper Uggs lasted many a year, really strong and supported the ankle well - even survived the beast from the East. The cheapie ones (Primarni) lasted a couple of months at best and wobbled over at the side.

I have fake uggs from to max, 4 years old, with good soles, but tatty uppers now.

Is anyone else finding Roy a bit annoying? He is so judgemental over people and quite scathing, his character never used to be that brittle, he changed a lot when he turned on Carla when she tried to protect him over the boat fire, I thought he was vile to her then, don’t think I’ve forgiven him for that. As an aside it was nice to see Carla in that lovely blue top, she rarely wears colour but it really suited her.

I still don't understand what Grace actually went to prison for. Pretending the baby you're looking after is yours isn't a crime (it wasn't abduction).

Why is Abi so invested in the (tedious and completely unbelievable) property stuff, other than to get back at Roy? She hasn't been there that long and doesn't even own a house there? I do wish she'd stop jumping up and down like she's in a mosh pit.

I just had a snoop at property in Hale Barns, it looks very fabulous. And expensive. Has Sally got a job? Has Sally got any money? Has Tim? Do they not still owe money for the barrister lady?
I want to visit Hale Barns, it looks like it would do a nice tea and slice of cake, and have lovely small shops with no price tags. And a Freshco a few miles away.

I think Toyah and Imran fostering Kelly could be really interesting. She would run rings around them, but at the same time she is vulnerable and really needs stability. It sounds like a good storyline though so unlikely it will happen.

Well I guess if you want to foster a baby, it's not quite like fostering a troubled teenager!

You can choose what age group you want to foster, but often, especially when you are starting out, you are asked to take other age groups because that's where the need is. You can always say no though of course. I don't live in the UK, but i think the system is similar.

It was ridiculous enough toyah and imran fostering a baby in a tiny flat with another couple but there’s no way they could foster a teenage girl in that flat.

I'm not UK either. I have a friend who became a twin baby specialist, which is hard work. But she has a proper house and car, not a shared flat.

I enjoyed the scene in the cafe with Roy and Evelyn - it seemed normal and with two actors who can actually act.

DH has pointed out that the actor who plays Arthur was Daisy’s FIL in Downton Abbey. Despite watching it I didn’t twig until he mentioned it.

He was also in Queer as Folk and Last Tango in Halifax
