We need more like her. If more of the cast took that line we wouldn’t be fed this rubbish every episode.

I couldn't get over how far-fetched the whole Canada notion was. FGS, if you want to take characters off the scene for a while, or even forever, you only need to go as far as Liverpool or Lytham. We're prepared to suspend disbelief up to a point to maintain the drama, but jetting off across the Atlantic on a whim is taking it too far.

Thank goodness. In full lockdown it helped me know what day it was, and at least people on Corrie were having a worse time than me.

Indeed, and it's always a case of "drop everything and come with me now" and never "join me in a few weeks' time once you've had chance to make some arrangements..."

And are we to assume he'd already bought her a plane ticket?! Or she'd just be able to book one that night and turn up next morning at the airport ? Either would be ridiculous!

Did she even ask whereabouts in Canada?

I know Arthur has a neice there, but Canada is a bloody big place. Toronto is a far cry from Whitehorse.
