Bright and shiny new thread to mark Corrie’s next decade

Oh I like Carla she’s one of my fav characters was watching those ‘queens of Corrie’ etc programmes that were on last week and can’t get over how different she sounds irl. I’ve never actually heard her talk outside of her Carla character before.

I think any actor who is on Corrie for more than a few years likes to adopt a posh accent in interviews- just to show they’ve got range, don’t you know, and aren’t type cast!

*TBH - getting a crack on the temple with toolbox the way Geoff belted Alya - that would have actually killed many people. I'd be very surprised if anyone could have regained consciousness and then had the nous to try and save their granny from a burning house after that sort of cranial damage.

I just googled him talking to Lorraine Kelly.... OMG, would not have predicted that voice! Also got reminded that he was quite gorgeous.
