It can’t be Sarah because she told Adam she wished he was dead. When someone actually says that or ‘I could kill you’, it’s just to put them under suspicion - it’s never actually them wot dunnit. Soap law.

The worst thing about the disappearing fire was that it wasn’t even necessary. They still could have had the rooftop showdown if Yasmeen had locked herself in the attic to hide and Geoff had broken the door down - she could have gone out there thinking ‘I’d rather die than let him get me’. It would also explain how Alya got up there (she needed to be there so there was a witness that Geoff fell) and why no one out in the street noticed the place was on fire. All the drama, none of the inconsistencies.

Carla is a total pain. She would be on my hit list for emigrating or being bumped off. That new kid started well but it's overdone now.

Maybe Carla could hijack him and move far away. Every character is a caricature just now.

TBH - getting a crack on the temple with toolbox the way Geoff belted Alya - that would have actually killed many people. I'd be very surprised if anyone could have regained consciousness and then had the nous to try and save their granny from a burning house after that sort of cranial damage.

I've walked into the corner of a kitchen cupboard and locked myself out and been unconscious for longer than she was. And when I came round I was sick and dizzy.
