5.30pm ITV1 (before the rugby) then results at 10pm (after the rugby)

I only watch tv once a year and that is to watch X Factor (I know I am sad, and should get out more...) but who is going to join me in this bundle of weekly fun?

I don't think SD will go through, but I have to say I really felt for that girl when she was talking about how she was bullied at school. I admire her for coming this far, and I admire her brother for sticking up for her and looking out for her.

Niki sounds like a right cow in that link (also read the one about Rydian being a virgin too bless him) same difference made me cry thought louis was an arse to them yet again he's already said he doesn't want them there they don't need to hear it over and over! Thought leon was awful and just can't see past niki' bitchyness so hope she goes. Rydian to win. And also what was with leons trousers?!

Nikki did herself no favours tonight with her big headedness and the way she acted at the press conference during the week, shame really cos had she not been like that she could well have gone through to the final.

Glad she has gone but she has got a lovely voice. Don't like the floaty bit at the back of the dress tho it adds pounds imo but this is coming from the woman that word a poncho to the pub last week so who am i to comment!

IMO louis is spot on about sd. if they win (and if they do it'll be a travisty), they might have a single, maybe an album because that's the deal, but after that they'll disappear into obscurity never to be seen/heard of again.

even if Rhydian doesn't have huge success in the charts he will have huge success on stage.

Leon was boring to watch last night, and like most saturday nights we get more pleasure laughing at his bandy legs!!!

He has no stage presence. I agree he has come on a long way, but he still looks petrified

He was singing to looking at his dancer like she was a piece of wood

I did kinda enjoy SD!! I dont think they should win at all. But Im glad they got through, they sound really hard workers and the kids wil love them

Im sure Louis will go on about how Nicki should be in and not them, but Nicki woudlnt have had much of an audience. SD will connect with the young kids and even have some of us adults foot tapping !!!!!!

Still think Rhydian should win. He makes the others sound so 'just ok' once he has sung

He seems so lovely also. (rubbish editing obviously at the beginning of x factor )

just watched this as was out last night.

How on EARTH is Leon still in??????
Hw managed to ruin two classic songs, was flat and dull. He must have a very large family, with huge phone bills, is all i can say...
Not that I like Niki much- her constant reliance on her sob stories and her attitude have detracted from her voice, She is good, but i agrre that her appeal would be limited.
However
(as Simon always says before going in for the kill)
Rhydian HAS to win now- Same Difference and all that bloody crying was just painful. And they can't sing. But maybe their target audience isn't bothered by vocal ability- and you can do a lot in the studio these days.
And Leon is just awful- and if i hear the words michael Buble again i will scream.
But Rhydian made me cry...If they wanted to release an album tomorrow, they could just put all his live performances on it, and it would be perfect.

And WTF was Niki wearing for 'One moment in time"????

I must admit, I hadn't noticed Niki becoming big-headed, but she does have that sort of look about her, like she's looking down her nose at the rest of them. I thought she did herself no favours when they were interviewed backstage and she said "I haven't done my best tonight." I thought, it's the semi-final you silly cow, if you haven't done your best, you deserve to go. I think these big diva artists are getting boring. People like SD and Rhydian because they're different. I thought Leon wasn't good last night. Think it will be SD and Rhyd in the final.

I am realising just how much the audition editing biases you these last few weeks. I hated Rhydian with a passion - nothing to do with his singing, I had no reason to hate him bar the auditions. The last few weeks though he has become this sweet young guy.

Thought Michael Buble was AWFUL on the
results show! What a dreadfully dull song and average performance. (No wonder louis always say Leon is like him!
No contest for the final. Only one winner (Rhydian) anyone else would be a complete farce.

Glad Nikki went (even if she is a fellow Brummie)...the constant sob stories and warbling drove me mad.. and I can't believe she is only 35 !!!?! Must be a hard life being a dinner lady

Agree with early editing re:Rhydian - I was screaming at the screen when Danni put him in her final 3 but to me he is now the only winner

Leon was dull as well (and yes, you have mentioned you're mum a few times...)

SD made me cry too ...must be getting soft in my old age

Me and dh said where Nikki lost her votes, when she said 'theres no-one who sings like me Simon' .... BOOM there you go love theres the door, people just dont appreciate that sort of behaviour from someone at that level.
After hating Rhydian to start with (but I think that was poor editing) I think he is a star performer, note perfect every week, always respectful to the judges, he's great and I think that they will make millions out of him.
Agree re: Leon, lovely boy but cant sing, no charisma, no timing.
Same Difference are plain weird, I just didnt know there were people like that left in the world!!! No future for them me thinks!

I don't actually disagree with the way Louis has been towards SD. A lot of the comments he has made about them are similar to the ones that have been made on here and elsewhere. If you are to make it as a professional act, then you have to be prepared for the fact that not everyone is going to think you're wonderful and say lovely things, that's just the way it is. So if they can't handle the comments of one judge, then they will never make it as a professional act, because they will get a lot worse than that from the public/critics etc.
