It's been such a strange year for us all but never more so than for the people of the dales, what will Christmas and the New Year episodes bring...........some lighthearted relief I hope but probably not.

Absolute twaddle the last couple of nights. Also, Charles and Ethan are utterly tedious. Charles seems to be being portrayed as a saint, while Ethan is like a slightly camp, malicious Jimminy Cricket. Just why?

Also, random thought - I know Liv has her mother’s surname now, but her parents were married when she was born... which means she was Liv Livesy.

I saw the Paul actor saying he had a huge script to learn a couple of days ago Is this some kind of Lenten punishment by Emmerdale? Please make it stop. And get Billy back ASAP. I need someone pretty to look at.

I agree .. the storyline has been appalling... it's really scraping the barrel.. the character Paul is like a seedy snake type personality.. and has no endearing qualities at all... I hope he leaves soon and takes Vinny with him..

I hope it doesn't go down that route. If it does I hope horrible Paul gets his comeuppance. As PP says he has no endearing qualities. Let's hope he takes vile, shouting Mandy with him. She is so different in Classic.
I thought Liv said she didn't have loads of money as it was all tied up in the house and only contributed £700 to the Free Paul Fund.

I think he’ll try and get caught out - then the big ironic finish will be that Liv didn’t even have the money to be fleeced thereof. Vinnie will do a sad betrayed face and say ‘It were only ever about money, weren’t it? I just wanted yer to love me, Dad!’

That was a bit irresponsible of emmerdale to have Nicola say bleeding in pregnancy was normal. Surely she could have added “I’d speak to your midwife just to be on the safe side”

I love Laurel and Jai together. Never in a million years would I have put them together but they work so well. It’s turned Jai into a decent person.

I’m also boaking slightly at Vinnie telling his parents he was ‘officially off the sofa’. The only time your parents should have any inkling you’ve had sex is when they become grandparents - and even then there should be an element of doubt.

I think the Mill was converted into two flats after the fire.

I don't think Kim particularly likes Gabby or her being pregnant but she has realised that she can use this to completely ruin any chance of Jamie getting together with Dawn. I bet Kim will take great delight in breaking the news to Dawn.

At least with Gabby, Kim can control her. Dawn is too feisty and she won't have that again after Andrea.
