It's been such a strange year for us all but never more so than for the people of the dales, what will Christmas and the New Year episodes bring...........some lighthearted relief I hope but probably not.

It really feels like they’re trying to leave charity in a situation where she has nothing left to stay in the village for. Her daughter hates her, her son hates her, Moses is with Ross, haven’t seen Ryan in ages and he doesn’t live locally anyway. She’s lost Vanessa and Johnny, now chas wants her out of the partnership.

I don't like it!

Me neither. I hate seeing charity being pathetic and begging for forgiveness.

Where does belle work now?

I actually feel really sorry for Charity. The writers seem determined to ruin her. She was so great after testifying against that dodgy cop who abused her as a kid. Came across brilliantly. And all of them have done pretty terrible things themselves, well maybe not Noah and Lydia, but the rest of them are hypocrites.

Where does belle work now?

Is she still at the vets? Along with Dawn and Pearl! For a veterinary practice where they are hardly ever at work that seems like overload

they must be job sharing. 11.75 hours a week each.

I thought Belle left the vets after trying to set Jamie up to overdose a horse. Before they knew she was breaking down again. Paddy was forced to let her go.

Wish Victoria would change her hideous hairstyle she looks like a bad Victoria wood tribute act!

She is really pretty but her sometimes looks like a pudding bowl haircut.

Victoria looked much better with long hair. She then got that elfin cut with hardly suits anybody.

I really don't know what they're going to do with Charity. She was once the most feisty female character and now she's been ostracised by her entire family and pretty soon won't even have a job or place to live if dopey Marlon buys her share of the pub.

In real life Victoria is stunning but in Emmerdale they always make her look so drab and old before her time.

@RaraRachael I wouldn't call that style elfin! But yeah I agree you need fine features to carry off that style.

It was originally an elfin cut when it was short-short. I thought it suited her, but now it's just growing outwards like a 90s mum haircut.

It was lovely in the pixie cut but she's obviously growing it out and it's at that awkward stage for now.

I can’t help thinking that if, when Ethan had turned up and said, ‘Hang on; you’re with a woman now?’, Luke had just said ‘Yeah, I’m bi, didn’t you realise?’, that would probably have been that. Instead he’s made this stupid half-confession that will invariably bite him on the arse when either a) Victoria talks to Ethan and he says ‘One-night stand? But Luke was with X for months’ or b) X turns up unexpectedly.

Yeah it’s so stupid. All it would have taken when Ethan arrived would be for Luke to say to Vic “oh, btw Ethan will probably mention his friend X at some point, I dated him a few years ago, I probably should have told you at the start I was bi but tbh it never occurred to me.”

Esp knowing how supportive Vic was of Robert!! Why then did Luke say it was a ONS when he knows it's his lying rather than his sexuality that she's upset about.

The actor who plays Luke and the actor who played his brother met on set and are now are a real life couple, and I don't think this sexuality storyline was ever initially intended for him hence why it feels a mess.

I don't usually find red haired men attractive but Luke is very handsome. The 'just happened once, swear that's it. No more lies' storyline is so silly.

Agree Luke is lovely looking. His personality really detracts from that
