Following on from the last thread:

-- Ian is being horrible to everyone, and is set to be attacked, leading to a whodunnit. Place your bets now. Adam Woodyatt will be on stage for six months, so it's set to be a long absence
-- Kush is leaving and we're going to miss him
-- Max is leaving and we're all secretly expressing our embarassing crushes on him
-- There's a 55 minute Xmas special, post-watershed with 'dark scenes' and probably Lucas's return
-- Everyone is going to have the happiest Christmas ever and it'll all end with them singing carols around the fireplace. Or not.

Lucas returning ? Just why, man was evil to Dee!

I like Max. Not fancy like but he is lovely .. I've always liked odd men.
Stuart too.
Shame Max is leaving!
Ian not so much.

I like Max, and Kush.
Shame to see good characters leaving. Hopefully the way will be open for them to return.

Looking forward to the usual happy Christmas in Walford! It seldom disappoints .

I hope they don't kill Max off.

Apparently they are 'leaving the door open'. I read an article today that says his final scenes aren't until mid-feb so we still have some Max left.

Makes me suspect he might be the one who arranges the attack on Ian, as by Feb, the truth should be revealed, and it would make sense for him to do a runner or get jailed.

I don't think Max does the dirty on Ian.
I think it will be Sharon !

I was thinking he might get framed for it though, like with Lucy, and end up in jail again.

If it is Sharon, I hope she wallops Ian with a dog-shaped doorstop or the Queen Vic bust.

It's a bit like ' who shot Phil?'
Or ' who shot JR'
Or ' who killed Archie Mitchell' !
Or 'who got Michelle pregnant '
(But as it's Ian nobody really cares! )

Tina is also leaving.

I wish Tina and Max weren’t leaving. They seem to have got rid of lots of people, Kush, Tina, Max, Ian and some more names that I can’t recall right now! I can’t stand Suki, she’s horrid.

Ok. It’s that time of the year to start watching again so I know what’s what in time for the Christmas shitshow.

Unfortunately I haven’t seen it since the boat sank. I know Denny died, other baby was born, I know about Mick and his care worker (but I don’t know how that ended, he possibly has a daughter???), I know no-one has twigged it was Ian and I know Ben is/was deaf. Anything else major I need to catch up on?

Oh yeah, Denny. Just before lockdown, Sharon retrieved the phone from the bin that had his final message on it. So is she going to finally listen to that? A better twist would be if she already has and had been plotting the whole time.

Umm, Denise got her kid back because his adoptive parents died. Kat and Phil robbed some cars because Kat and Kush are in debt. Halfwit is bringing down Phil from the inside.

Anyone else think Kat is going to get with Phil once Kush leaves? Total gruesome twosome but she likes gangster types and he likes mouthy curvaceous ladies. Shudder.

Ooh some unexpected stuff there 🤔

I'd like to see Phil and Kat together I think Phil would enjoy her 3 boys moving in and running around the place, he must be bored at home. Ben would hate it though!

I picked up a TV guide for Christmas today and it appears we find out a lot more about Ian over that period.
No clue as to whodunnit though.
Lots of angst for the Carter's again with Katy and Mick etc.

Ah I know! I love Stuart too! But they’ve done the same as they always do and turned them from a total nutter/ pure evil to dead nice and he’s running the funeral directors like he never got mick sent to jail and terrorised Linda. Wish they would send mick to hail now though. Whingey bugger is getting right on my wick! Lol!

I wonder how Shirley will take it if Phil gets together with Kat? I’m convinced she still has a soft spot for him.

Suki was found out by Jean about her ' cancer scare' ! ( she is evil) I cant remember how.
Ian bought the Vic for Sharon with Kathy's money or something? He also stitched up Max with regards to money. Sharon and Ian run it together.
I didn't watch it much when it came back so I'm a bit vague about some things.

Haha no! Jean exposed her but nothing came of it. Ian bought the pub for Sharon but he’s ripped off people to do it. Faked kathys signature to remortgage the caf and ripped off max somehow

I often wonder if having different writers means they don't always speak to each other or meet up so they all just do what they want? .. I often think about the continuing storylines and how much they do collaborate ? If at all ?
It must have been even harder during lockdown!
