Eastenders spoiler thread 2 -- the best Christmas Walford's ever had!

kwiksavenofrillsusername · 01/12/2020 21:31

This thread is for Eastenders spoilers, speculation and a little bit of pisstaking. If you don't like spoilers, turn back now!

Following on from the last thread:

-- Ian is being horrible to everyone, and is set to be attacked, leading to a whodunnit. Place your bets now. Adam Woodyatt will be on stage for six months, so it's set to be a long absence
-- Kush is leaving and we're going to miss him
-- Max is leaving and we're all secretly expressing our embarassing crushes on him
-- There's a 55 minute Xmas special, post-watershed with 'dark scenes' and probably Lucas's return
-- Everyone is going to have the happiest Christmas ever and it'll all end with them singing carols around the fireplace. Or not.

Kat and Steve? Who is / was Steve?
They ( Kat and Phil) have both been round the block a few times for sure !

willsantausesantatize · 13/12/2020 15:49

Phil's taste in women is suspect which is why I never did believe in him and Dee! I know they were both so drunk that night but she really was out of his league and they hated each other.

willsantausesantatize · 13/12/2020 15:51

I had to look it up : Steve Owen! I'd forgotten about him.

kwiksavenofrillsusername · 13/12/2020 16:43

@crochetmonkey74

Is anyone else thinking it's all a bit weird like Ian is going to be dreaming some of it? I'm finding some bits hard to follow but not sure if I'm just half watching it/not paying enough attention
Some of it looks very weird at the moment due to the set changes. Plus they've started using more arty shots with dramatic voiceovers, which kind of makes it look a bit dreamlike. Maybe Ian will die, and they'll do the 'who killed Ian' storyline for a bit. Then it'll cut to Jane waking up in bed, going into the bathroom and opening the shower curtain and finding Ian in there, grinning.

How can you forget the quality character of Steve and his killer ashtray?

I remember Steve now I've looked him up! Yes, he tried to cover up a murder and got involved with the Mitchell's turf wars.
Mel married him. Happy days! Lol

willsantausesantatize · 13/12/2020 17:32

I love the idea of Kat and Phil as aging' star crossed lovers ! Seeing each other over a bacon butty in the cafe. ( or the secret cafe people go to sometimes)
Instead of a balcony , Kat will appear at the window of Alfie's illegal house extension at the Slaters house gazing over at the Mitchell abode.
' 0i Phil ! Where's me car money you scumbag'
Shakespeare will be turning in his grave!

Man that Katy woman needs to go back under the rock she came from. Where is Frankie? Afterall, she's the reason it's all come back to haunt Mick. Although, I have to say, I had to agree with some of what she said to Mick about Linda not supporting him. I mean, has any of his family actually asked him outright wtf is going on?

And wth is Kush up to sacrificing years of his life in prison just to get money for the Slaters when he won't even get to see them or it anytime soon 🤦🏻‍♀️

willsantausesantatize · 14/12/2020 21:11

Linda isn't supporting Mickula because his a boring horrible bully boy who shuts people out and takes his frustrations out on anyone who doesn't understand him. Doesn't want to talk about it.
On wonder L prefers Max. At least he talks to her!

kwiksavenofrillsusername · 14/12/2020 22:10

The Mick storyline is terrible because Danny Dyer is an awful actor. He can pull a pretend pint and do his charming cockerneee act, which is fine. But he doesn't have the acting skills to pull off a male mental health storyline.

Remember when Lee had depression? Similar problem. He just looked glum and vacant all the time. That's not a very rounded picture of what depression is like.

The Stuart & Rainey confession scene was hilarious 😆 What next!

willsantausesantatize · 16/12/2020 11:33

I was hoping that Mick and Linda would have a happier Christmas this year after last year and L getting so drunk and mixed up with Martin and Keanu but , alas, it's another misery fest brewing with horrible Katy.

southeastdweller · 17/12/2020 16:13

It was announced today that Mick will try to take his own life in a couple of weeks time.

OH NO! I can't believe it's going to get worse for Mick 🤦🏻‍♀️ Where is Frankie? I hate that Katy woman. If she hadn't ruined Mick's life back when he was 12, she's definitely going to be ruining his life for good this time round 😬
willsantausesantatize · 17/12/2020 19:07

I did read this on Facebook. I wonder if he will die or be found?
It's so grim though.

kwiksavenofrillsusername · 18/12/2020 13:53

I don't think he'll die. I think there would be a much bigger deal about it if Danny Dyer was leaving.

Either way, it sounds like a grim episode to start off 2021! Bloody hell Eastenders.

willsantausesantatize · 18/12/2020 15:10

Yep. As if Covid hasn't ruined this year enough already they want to kick off the new one with a suicide!

Happy new year eh?

kwiksavenofrillsusername · 24/12/2020 13:43

I loved the scene with Ian 'this is going to be the best christmas ever since you're my wife' then a brick comes though the window!

Xmas eve tonight then... let's home it all kicks off and we can enjoy the misery.

So what have we heard is going to happen ?
I haven't anything to share.

Apparently Frankie is coming back and going to go off the rails a bit! Also, Katy get arrested but not sure what for 🤔

👍

southeastdweller · 11/01/2021 21:03

This Adam and Sharon story is already dragging. Anyone know when Adam Woodyatt starts his sabbatical?

I don't know, but I thought for a second Dotty might have let the cat out of the bag with her black widow and insurance comments! Surely if Ian did die, Dotty would be the first one to point the finger at Sharon?
CharityDingle · 12/01/2021 13:02

They should have Sharon drinking one of those endless mugs of drugged tea, by mistake. Just to put a twist in a very ridiculous storyline.

One of the worst possible actors to pick to carry a serious storyline. He doesn't act, just pulls faces.
TreacleHart · 15/01/2021 18:49

Tiffany (Maisie ) is going to quit the show and won't renew her contract. Apparently she will remain until the end of the year.
Sorry don't know how to link up the announcement but it's on the Daily Mails ( Fails ) website today.
