Obviously Clara flubbed the routine, but the fact that she kept dancing something that was recognisably a jive throughout suggests to me that Aljaz did a great job teaching her how to jive. I get the sense that most Strictly contestants at a wedding or party simply wouldn’t be able to waltz/tango/salsa/jive without their strictly partner and their exact routine. But I bet Clara will be jiving at every party she goes to - and that’s why I’m still voting for her!

I think if Clara ends up in the DO and they have time to practice in between, she might do a much better job. Depending on who is there with her, she might get lucky! Hope she isn't in the DO though. She did mess it up, bless her. I know, it should be about the dancing, but I would love her to have another chance. She is a big Strictly fan as well, I think.

I hope JJ goes. He’s the weakest dancer by far, totally predictable, and I’m fed up to the back teeth with the narrative.

Same here.

I find him tedious in the extreme, and it's blown' patronising wheeling out the "he was a soldier" line every five minutes.

Clara had another bad week, but she's a joy to watch, which JJ isn't particularly. Sadly I think she'll be in the bottom two, and unless she really ups her game, even if she's against JJ she'll go out - if she's against anyone else she won't stand a chance unless she suddenly develops Flavia-type skills in 5 minutes.

Clara won't be saved against anyone if she ends up in the DO.

She may be saved against Viscount Mini Cheddars, the judges seem to prefer her to him.

And this is why I bloody hate the pretence of the Sunday live show. No one has time to improve or have another couple of run throughs.

Clara is jumped if she dances off and doesn’t do it perfectly. And even if she does do it perfectly they would probably still argue against her. (I hope to be proved wrong)

They are all about poor little MEasie, she’s only young but is harder faced than my auld drill sergeant and would have your eyes out and skin your nan for another 10 .

Clara is a joyful presence on the show but has had a dreadful two weeks. She was the worst dancer last night by far. I think she is going to go.

Clara was shocking - no question.

But with the agenda that seems to be going on with MEasie and the vowel thief, I do declare she would have been marked low even if she had been perfect.

I don’t know who will go. On last night it could be anyone.

And as someone else said, if there were a vowel thief/MEasie dance off, I fear that judges would turn themselves inside out trying to justify them both staying.

I saw that Mirror as well when looking at Im a Celeb and tbh I dont get it as for me no one would be a shock they are all much of a muchness to be honest and nothing like Gabby Logan/Aston Merrigold leaving

a vowel thief/MEasie would be pretty hard to achieve surely on this board? I would have thought with this number of contestants the top two being in the dance off would be next to impossible

Sorry. Clara is lovely and obviously a huge Strictly fan, and yes, she's had some shite from the wardrobe and make up depts, but she was been the worst dancer by a long way last night. She forgot half the routine and the other half wasn't technically great. At some point, you have to let her take responsibility.

Agree crazy number of 10s for the, not too bad, couple's dance; 7s would 've been better (I shouted it at the telly! ) (No answer )

Running A ringah or ringer is a very good dancer from the beginning of the show so there's little 'journey' , who says either they've done little or no dancing before, or maybe no ballroom dancing before. They aren't as popular as the people who have NEVER danced before, or have a little so they can be seen improving.

And aye kaz - Clara had a shocker. But just last night. She has had shockers from the judges and wardrobe almost every week.

I’m team Bill - always have been. And I would think Strictly this year would have been pure shite without him.

MEasie can play any poor me, humble me, look at me card she likes. But I will still feel nowt when I watch her dance.

At least Bill beings me joy. And Biscuits would too. If I didn’t have to look at that gaping hole in nearly every dance.

And the MEasie/vowel thief dance off would be purely in my fantasies I’m sure. Like the judges are gonna let that happen 🤨😡

Bill, Biscuits and Clara are my Joy bringers, but I also have a lot of love for Ranvir and can even tolerate NVWLS now - JJ and MEaisie leave me flat, thought I thought her last dance was better than usual as regards emotion.

I did feel very sorry for her at one point, but not for long.

I agree with this. I really love Clara, and would like her to stay. Also agree about the pretence of the Sunday show. Wouldn't it be so much better if they had time to practice and improve before the do?

The point about Maisie though is, speaking as the "owner" of a teen girl, is that they can come across as blank-faced know-it-alls and appear infuriatingly superior, when really they are covering up for inner confusion, lack of self-confidence, and terror. And generally, imho, the more bolshie they are, the more they need support. I think it's a lot for a 19 year old to cope with tbh and I hope the producers are looking after her properly, especially as she can't see her family and is isolating on the show.
