vjg13 · 06/11/2020 13:16

11th Nov, great ending to part 2.

beehivemind · 06/11/2020 19:27

Thanks that makes sense (and will save me constantly checking for the next week!)

SavageBeauty73 · 06/11/2020 20:27

Oh. Good to know as I've been checking since last night.

MrsBooks · 09/11/2020 08:14

I think I read somewhere this will be the last ever series? With that last Randall revelation I hope he gets a happy outcome this time. I'm hoping Nicky comes back soon as I really liked his character last season.

MadisonAvenue · 09/11/2020 09:05

I thought it was said that there’d be six seasons?

MollynAlly · 11/11/2020 00:09

I read on their Twitter page there is a season 6 yayyy

MadisonAvenue · 11/11/2020 16:02

Just checked and no episode 3 yet?

WhentheDealGoesDown · 11/11/2020 16:28

No, I checked about 10 minutes ago

MadisonAvenue · 11/11/2020 17:11

I just checked again and it’s there now.

triceratops12 · 11/11/2020 17:14

When do episodes get released? There's been two for ages!

AdditionalCharacter · 11/11/2020 17:34

Only realised there was a new season on there today. Watched 1+2 earlier and thought I'd need to wait until next week, but after reading this thread, I'm now watching episode 3.

When can we start discussing them?

WhentheDealGoesDown · 11/11/2020 17:46

Oh good that 3 is up, I will have to wait until later this evening now to watch it. I’m not bothered when people discuss once it has been shown as I will avoid thread until I have watched, like when stuff is on normal TV

MadisonAvenue · 11/11/2020 17:54

triceratops We get a new episode on Wednesdays, the day after it’s aired in the US. It only started in the US two weeks ago and there wasn’t an episode last week due to the election so they got episode 3 yesterday and we got it on Prime today.

Balloondog · 11/11/2020 20:13

Great episode! I'm loving the Kev/Madison relationship this season. Everyone else is irritating me if I'm honest! I can't wait to find out more about Randall's birth mother though, that was a nice twist.

Pl242 · 11/11/2020 20:59

For some reason I can get the new episodes on my prime app on my virgin tv but not via Amazon fire.

Anyway. Loved episode 3. Felt the first two set things up and now it’s hitting it’s stride. I absolutely love the way this show weaves in different characters and timelines and this episode did it really well.

PamsterWheel · 11/11/2020 21:43

Poss ep 3 SPOILER
The ending confused me. Should I know who?

Pl242 · 11/11/2020 21:54

EPISODE 3 SPOILER ALERT

@PamsterWheel

Yes. It’s Laurel. Randall’s birth mother.

LittleMissBrainy · 11/11/2020 22:33

Oh finally I have found somewhere to discuss it with!! Best show ever!
Amazing twist with Laurel, can we discuss each episode after it’s aired on here?
Does anyone else feel that they’ve beautified Madison since the end of S4 and made her a lot more sensible?

Timeandtune · 11/11/2020 22:36

Ah . I thought it was Beth’s sister. The one Kev went to Vietnam with.

Pl242 · 11/11/2020 23:21

If that was the case, the scene with the Vietnamese guy and his granddaughter would have to be set waaaay in the future, as he was a young man in the photograph.

Pl242 · 11/11/2020 23:23

I think the evolution of Madison is quite authentic. But if Kevin was as super famous as the plot suggests, I’m not sure they could live in the relatively low key way they seem to be.

Where were Rebecca and Miguel in this episode? Did Kate and Kevin just leave them at the cabin??

beehivemind · 12/11/2020 12:20

I'm confused - if Laurel is in the photo, where does the granddaughter fit in?

WaxOnFeckOff · 12/11/2020 12:26

Presumably Randal's mum and Vietnamese guy had at least one child (so Randal's half sibling(s)) and child is therefore his niece? No idea yet what happened to sibling(s) or if the child is from a completely different relationship/adopted etc.

I can't remember what the guy who saved her life looked like, could it be the paramedic?

Pl242 · 12/11/2020 12:46

The granddaughter may not necessarily be Laurel’s granddaughter? That was my first thought. Otherwise the little girl wouldn’t have referred to her as the lady in the pictures?

I don’t think the guy is the paramedic. I think he was white, not Vietnamese.

If we assume the scenes of the Vietnamese grandfather and granddaughter are present day, I’m trying to work out when the picture would have been taken. Before or after Randall’s birth? Probably after? So 80s? In Vietnam? Or USA? Or elsewhere?

Obviously earlier in the show there was a lot of focus on Vietnam re when Nicky and jack were there in the war. Kevin and Zoe went over there too. Any links to one or both of those storylines?

Questions, questions, questions.

WaxOnFeckOff · 12/11/2020 13:08

yeah, i'm assuming present day, in the photo Laurel looks healthy.

It's currently 2020 and Randall is 40 so born 1980ish. Granddaughter maybe 8-10? Is it a bit of a push for Laurel to get properly clean, meet guy, have a child and then for that child to meet someone and have a child in say 30 years? Or could this be from a previous relationship? We don't really know very much about her do we?
