Anyone watching.
I've enjoyed the 2 episodes I've seen.

Oh I didn't know this had started. I assumed it would be on in the evening so hasn't realised. Someone I know is on this so want to watch it.

It's on at about 3 or 4 pm. I record it and then watch.

Watched the first episode but seems a bit of a cheat to have parents in trades and get them to do work for free! Made a nice change to have two young woman leading the project though.

She's not been on it yet, the one I know. I'm only watching it for that!

So disappointed for the participants who lost money, got no profit obviously and nothing to add to their savings so they could buy their own places. They must be gutted.
Why, if the house was valued at more, was it sold for a loss at €212,000 ?
Could they not have waited a little bit and hope another buyer bites ?

This programme is painful viewing. I'm surprised it's even being shown rather than quietly binned.

Another episode where the woman's father just happened to be a builder! I'd be really pissed off with the other woman - who went on holiday twice and complained that she was too tired and busy to do the hard graft!

Well if one of their Dad's hadn't been a builder nothing would have got done at all!!

Really irritated me today. Stupid giggly 'woman' who couldn't measure. Made me ashamed to be female. Then said she had 'childcare issues' so couldn't stay to finish the job. Surely the child was old enough to come and strip a few walls or something or even do a bit of painting. Lazy and selfish. If I was the other woman I'd have wanted the full profit and maybe given her a fiver for turning up!

The girl who went on 3 holidays - I thought she was saving for a house of her own

Am on episode 4 and the couple are a nightmare. She’s never there and he makes all the decisions. She refused to take off wallpaper as didn’t think it necessary then when she was told it was made out it was the blokes fault for taking too long to do stuff . She is really good at blaming and whinging. I am oddly hooked on the series though .

Oh she’s just walked out on the project . She doesn’t know how project is going to come together but can’t see that her rarely being able to work on it has contributed to that state of affairs.

Felt bad for the South Asian girl and the Hotel worker. He was so sweet and they worked so hard. She needed a win.

Lovely episode today with the two welsh ladies. So pleased for them.

Such a contrast to the giggling idiot from Friday who was incapable of measuring anything and who 'couldn't be bothered' to do any work on the house.

Arsenic totally agree. I wish they’d have made a bigger profit. They certainly deserved to. They were an amazing team.

Yes, I really admired the way they worked together and thought they deserved more than they got for 6 months hard work.

Today's one was good. They did really well. £5k is a good start for each of them.

Really felt for the couple who made a loss las week - the hotel guy. Their house looked beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. Someone got a real bargain.

Is Simon really putting up his own money for this? Presumably they're being done concurrently so that's an awful lot of his money tied up in property.

Felt so bad for last Wednesdays episode, with the boy and girl from Leicester. They were both lovely and tried so hard. It sounds like she had had a really tough few years and deserved a profit the house looked beautiful as well, I loved the hexagonal tiles in the bathroom.

Couldn't believe the Welsh midwife on Friday, three holidays! she didn't deserve half of that profit, it seemed like she barely turned up!

Today's were lovely, I was so chuffed that they did well and thought they were a great team.

I'm sure yesterday's was a repeat of the first episode. The one in Leeds.

The Welsh midwife was a pain in the butt. Three holidays while apparently trying to save for a house. She's a midwife but couldn't do a simple thing like measure correctly. Felt sorry for the other woman but I'm glad they didn't do well.

This is one of the things I find so interesting about the show. He was having a complete love-in with the iron fireplace and sash windows - but as Simon pointed out, you spend a week restoring a fireplace if you’re going to live in a house, not if you’re looking to renovate cheaply and sell quickly. He could have sold it to a salvage yard and used the money on a cheap replica.
