I finished the series yesterday. It was a corker of a final episode, thought I would have liked to see how everyone was getting on and not just the final few. Lovely comeuppances, lovely moments. One huge disappointment. I’ll admit I actually cried at one moment this series (which is so not me).

I am just about to start it. Excited

Has anyone watched Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? (If you haven’t, watch it, it’s amazing) Billy really reminds me of Trent- there was one point where he smiled at the camera and DP and I suddenly noticed it at the exact same time

I am up to the commitment ceremony after yet more misbehaving at the dinner party. (FFS when will they stop?)
Now off to the bride’s home stays I think.

Cant stand Billy. Suzy is dreadful, that is a given. But he plays the "victim" so well, and he LIES!! Only about small things maybe, but sometimes they are the most annoying as the pointlessness is so irritating

Can we talk about the fact that Suzy called her daughter Baby? Did she just see it on the hospital wristband and decide to stick with it?

There is something a bit off about Billy.

Billy is a bit off alright but Dino gives me the creeps, I would prefer to be matched with Deano from S.5!

I watched them both last it. Dramatic and emotional.

Good lord Sam should never ever shave off his beard again.

Sam looks completely nondescript without a beard. I didn’t recognise him till the ixperts said his name.

Spoiler alert episode 32( I think)

I know men and women have different ways of handling situations, but Mick hugging Dan after the big reveal just seemed so pathetic. Get a backbone mate. Dan's just admitted him and your wife have been carrying on behind your back, kissing, making plans etc, you've cried over it... Then you go shake his hand and hug him!!! Doubt Tam did to Jessikakaka. Just seems so wet. Not that I wanted him to punch his sleazy face, but have a bit of dignity and turn your back at least.

I haven’t got to the reunion yet but I have googled Ines after she left and she’s said that she was on a lot of Valium during the reunion and not in a good place. DP thinks that she was on something the whole way through- during the commitment ceremony she runs off for a bit and comes back with big pupils really calm and talking slowly and even weirder than usual.

I’m enjoying the drama but occasionally I’m reminded of how many really damaged people have been put on this show (Cyrell, Innes, Matthew this season, Gabrielle, Sarah, Big Andrew previously, just off the top of my head) and how wildly unethical the experts are. I suppose at least by streaming it at least I’m not giving them any money for it!

Brilliant! I’m thinking Troy was more Trent though.

I think Ines was genuinely hurt by Sam’s rejection. She saw the show as just a game, but really was there to find a partner and assumed everyone else was too.

Sam looked freakish without his beard. I found his face really hard to look at - nowhere near as attractive when you could see his features!

I don’t want to put on any spoilers though. I agree that it’s much harder having a thread like this without regular watch times. I think the only way it can work is WITH spoilers, which can ruin things.

I haven’t joined the U.K. thread yet as I think Dh might not cope with another series. Even I kept saying, “I’m on episode 34 and this goes up to 41! How the hell is there anything left to show?!” But the last few episodes were corkers.

Am on the final final dinner -

I think Elizabeth is beautiful, but goodness me the "big-eyes/wounded puppy" look wears thin after seeing it 20 times!!

And I love Cyrell I would love to have her as a friend - loyal, honest and a straight shooter! with a built in BS detector

On the very final episode I became utterly distracted by Elizabeth’s golden nose. Was it gold on purpose? Did she know it was gold? Did no one tell her she had a gold nose? Is that a thing? Should I have a gold nose?

Dh and I spent more time discussing the golden nose than anything else

Am just watching now instead of working and I too am being distracted by it!

Still behind but Cam’s parents are so cute! I love the shrine and 31 baby albums, I would be the same if riotdude didn’t reign me in xD
