Oh- lovely Pat!

Pat is lovely. I was slightly worried they'd go down the pervy scout master stereotype and was so glad they didn't. So sweet, trying not to upset the boys when he'd been shot with the arrow.

I also saw on Twitter that they'd managed to finish just as lockdown started. My children are very excited! So good having something we can all watch together

The basement ghosts seem a scarier looking bunch. Did we ever get to find out who they were/why they’re down there? I have a dreadful memory.

The basement ghosts were plague victims and the basement is their plague pit. They’re actually a very pleasant bunch (and experts in the house’s heating system), though excessively warty due to the plague. The Captain asked them why they didn’t come upstairs and they said they just like it down there!

Yay.

My favourite is Robin.

Catkin. Thanks for the lowdown on the basement ghosts. I hadn’t picked up on the cellar being on the site of a plague pit. I do love how they know all the ins and outs of the heating system .

I still can't decide who is my favourite ghost. It kind of depends on the selection criteria.

My favourite is Robin..."Moooonahhhh"

I loved Robin's explanation of why the moon was so important - and his chess playing - and 'bum and chips'.

I also like Kitty and I hope we learn more about her story in this series.
