Today’s ep had a shit edit when Brent was chatting in the kitchen to David post Harlow’s then you see him in the garden and David is all “where have you been?” It’s like an odd last minute scene reshuffle that someone didn’t follow through correctly.

I'm beginning to like Brent, but wish they hadn't brought in another dodgy gangster mate - so clichéd.

It would have been much better to do a redemption arc with him and Hendrix finding friendship than the whole inevitable trouble that follows him

It feels like the switching between scenes has been very jarring in recent episodes. The one where Roxy, Sheila and Kyle were at the Flamingo Bar was quite odd as it would then cut to really serious scenes.

Yeah, it feels like they have taken out a storyline or something because it seems so random with the same people in a different location suddenly or like the other day when David berated Brent when he had just had a scene in the kitchen with him.

Today’s scene with Terese, Sheila and Chloe at the flamingo bar felt like a lot of shoe horning with a random route of hand cream (was that meant to be product placement or something as it went over my head) as did other scenes. The dialogue is naff. They’ve really dumbed down Karl and Susan in this storyline. Bea being inside the whole time seems to come out of nowhere.

It’s just al so bizarre and stilted.

And there is no way Levi would be allowed to work on a case involving his girlfriend's uncle.

I’m not sure what the guidelines are in aus compared to U.K. for cops working on cases. Maybe it’s like the US in that some areas are much more isolated so they have to be more lax about dealing with family as you can be related to half all the town? But then you’d think in a city burb they’d not do it because they could facilitate not to...

I’m not sure why I’m trying yo look for reasoning. It’s neighbours. You can write, edit and release a book in 3 weeks, walk/see/hear when you were never meant to again and if you’re an alcoholic you can be around alcohol no problemo whenever you want. I’m assuming Terese, Sheila and Chloe all had mocktails... right?!?

Chloe was a bit unkind ranting at Aaron over the name choice. Why didn't they all say something like "Yes, great idea, maybe not first name, but that will be a lovely middle name..."

I think Chloe's been holding a lot of her grief in around the boys tho so probably due a burst but thought the all about him comments was a bit off. Agree David should have said privately it wasn't a good idea. But he is oblivious. Everyone looked horrified and he's all let's name a boy Fay!!
