Where are Gail, Maria (and shh, Gary), Izzy, Johnny & his lodger mate, Roy or Amy?

I know the older actors (Ken, Audrey, Rita) are probably still shielding but the others? We did see Eileen tonight via Skype (other video chats are available) but I'd rather see the others pass the time of day than the flower or bun fight debacles.

David Neilson (Roy) is over 70. Can't explain Gary, Maria, Gail, or Izzy. Jonny and Amy have appeared before now, so not sure where they've disappeared too. Still no Aggie family for ages either, apart from Michael.

Gary can’t do anything with his story with the other court case waiting to start. They've not found the body in woods yet. Can’t cope with “I saw you staring at Sarah, you lovvvvvvvve her not me” sulks for the next 6months.

Apart from Daniel maybe having a happy every after with Cardi women, possibly in her aunties BnB. There are no good happy feel good story lines at all.

The drama teacher at college used to do that. We'd be put into pairs/small groups, given a prop or 2 and told we had 5 mins to concoct a storyline to perform to the others. Maybe they've done the same with the cast

I know it’s probably partly due to Ken and Gail not being around, but no one seems to give a shit that Adam and Sarah’s marriage is over before it began. They had one conversation about it each with Daniel and David respectively before being demoted to supporting players in their storylines - when you’d think a marriage breakdown would be a big story in its own right.

I haven't watched at all this week and won't bother. Just keeping up to speed with all the filler shite thanks to this thread! I feel a bit guilty that I haven't had to endure watching yet still know what's going on.

I even thought I might start watching eastenders again as Corrie is so lacking at the mo.

I watched a few episodes after a few too many gins and I’m confused about who George is? I feel like he just appeared and Mary was pissed off with him about something. Did we see what happened to piss her off on screen?

That argument between Mary and Brian was pathetic. I wouldn’t mind so much but It wasn’t it funny. I don’t know if comedy was the road they were going down

George is the late undertaker Archie Shuttleworth's son who was played by the marvellous Roy Hudd. Audrey used to do the hair and makeup for his corpses.

I've been having a bonanza catch up of all the episodes I've recorded since before lockdown. DH was at home during it, and doesn't watch it so have been having massive Corrie binges whenever he goes away.

The Aggie family - the husband is the worst actor I've ever seen on tv! I literally had to fast forward through all his scenes! He shouts his lines, and delivers them ridiculously slowly, as he widens his eyes. Is it terrible acting or do I just have an aversion to his voice? 😁

The Geoff, Yasmeen story has been utterly brilliant. Thank god Sally got that laptop out of his house... incredible he is still walking free! And what has happened to Elaine/Philippa?

I can't believe they didn't continue with that storyline but moved on to so much inconsequential rubbish! Filler is right. And the way they all keep taking their masks off to talk, even doctors! Or holding masks as a prop...

I'm gutted they are breaking up Peter and Carla. I always thought they worked really well as a couple.

I like Carla and Peter together too, hopefully they don’t actually break up and it’s just a rough patch. Tbf he actually didn’t do anything wrong!
