It might very well be Djok, since the other 'older' players are out- Isner is older.

Raahh · 04/09/2020 19:26

And Fed, Rafa, Stan , Monfils, aren't playing...

Raahh · 04/09/2020 19:27

So, yes, at 33, it's probably Djok. Going off those left in the draw.

Raahh · 04/09/2020 19:28
Grin

Oh- Moutet took the 3rd set in the Evans match.

Top player, he is.

PrivateSpidey · 04/09/2020 19:30

Ah yes I didn't even think of Isner tbh.

Goffin was described as a "veteran" in his last match Hmm he's probably only 30 isn't he, if that?!

Raahh · 04/09/2020 19:37

David is still a mere 29.
It does feel like he's been around forever.

Raahh · 04/09/2020 19:39

Well done Goffin.

PrivateSpidey · 04/09/2020 19:42

I just googled RBA as I thought he could be a contender... But he's only 32. So it must be Novak.

PrivateSpidey · 04/09/2020 19:43

Yes David! Tricky match on paper, glad he got through!

Raahh · 04/09/2020 19:48

Will we ever know the answer? Grin

Except I think it's Novak.

Typical Novak. He's got to be top of everything at the moment.

Osaka is through- her thigh was heavily strapped up. Had a bit of a blip, but got through it.

PrivateSpidey · 04/09/2020 19:54

Typical Novak. He's got to be top of everything at the moment.
Grin

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2020 19:57

I thought Kukushkin might be a contender but he's a year younger than Djok. I'm very impressed my autocorrect remembered his name because it's yonks since I mentioned him!

OP posts:
Raahh · 04/09/2020 20:01

Jane it's funny what autocorrect chooses to remember. Grin.

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2020 20:06

Grin my autocorrect seems to think the past tense doesn't exist!

Raahh · 04/09/2020 20:09

Was it the oldest player in the singles draw, Private

(I'm really invested in this, can you tell?)

There are some 'older' players left in the doubles. Mahut is around 38 (I'm sure he's a similar age to Roger). Soares?

Fizzywinegum · 04/09/2020 20:18

You need to go on Eggheads Raahh (but not when Wimbledon is on Grin)

Come on Dan! Oh dear now he’s swearing!

Raahh · 04/09/2020 20:19
Grin

I'd be rubbish on Eggheads. I would probably freeze.

I'd do better on the repeat Wink.

Dan is getting very cross. Or pumped up. Or something.

kazzaD66 · 04/09/2020 20:21

Except I didn't hear what he said. Nick apologised for the language but, as DS said, if he swore, why didn't he get a code violation?

Comeon Dan!

Raahh · 04/09/2020 20:24

kazza that's true.

I've decided Moutet doesn't carry off the ink splodge shorts as well as Khachanov. I think it is because he is quite a bit shorter.

There's a lot of shouting in this match Grin.

kazzaD66 · 04/09/2020 20:24

Moutet's shorts are slightly less fluorescent than last night, simply because they have a big ink splodge on them now. But that just makes them more annoying!

JaneJeffer · 04/09/2020 20:24

You'd be fine on eggheads Raahh you could witter for five minutes before you answer the question like they all do.

OP posts:
Raahh · 04/09/2020 20:24

x -post re- the shorts Grin.

kazzaD66 · 04/09/2020 20:25

X post re splodges Raahh Grin

kazzaD66 · 04/09/2020 20:25

X post x post Grin

Raahh · 04/09/2020 20:26

Jane oh yes, wittering I can do.

I watched a fair bit of the celebrity Egghead repeats recently- I think they are rigged. And we have some really quite dim 'celebrities' around Grin.
