Isn't it a shame that these young women feel they have to have fillers, botox and whatnot? They all seem to look better before as well

Tracey’s face is worrying, and she seems to lick her lips a lot when she get anxious which sort of highlights how bad her surgery /fillers/goddess knows what else is.

I think Telvs wife wears way too much make up and she really doesn’t need it. in the scenes where she’s either just woken up or they are out and she has heavy make up but natural colours and minimal blush she is absolutely beautiful, she is naturally beautiful on the inside and out. If I was man or attracted to women she’d be my type with less make up) she has a great figure, a beautiful face that fiery hair and a sweet personality.... she’s my girl crush 🙈

I may be old fashioned, boring and definitely not a TV producer, looking for car crash TV, but these young girls with the extensive botox/fillers/surgery shouldn’t be accepted for the show, it should flag up issues.

Got to agree with having a girl crush on Telv's wife she is just lovely inside and out with zero need for all that awful makeup.

As an aside I'm very interested now in twin dynamics. Shazza and Mish (season 4 if you haven't yet its essential viewing) were a fascinating study in sibling domination and how seeing yourself as the inferior copy can be life destroying and this season wig ladies twin seemed intent on destroying her lovely, lovely twins slightest chance of happiness. My daughter is currently pregnant via IVF and this program has completely stopped me hoping for twin grand babies.

I think it might be the 'sculptural' blusher and the heavily lined lips? If she toned those bits down she'd look even more gorgeous.

I think she’s gorgeous and not into drag queen category at all. But for me the thing that tips it into drag when I do my make up is the false lashes! When they’re just so heavy they don’t look like individual lashes but a kind of bushy brush instead, that always makes me feel a bit drag-like!

Re the thumb saying Davina looked good when made up but not other times (can’t remember if that’s on this thread or the next one, but I’m here now so...!) , I think those ‘to camera’ pieces are all filmed after the series ends but they talk in the present tense to ‘narrate’ each episode.

I think Sarah is very attractive, but I suspect she has also fallen for the lip filler, botox, lash extensions and possibly tattooed lip and eye liner?
I think really heavy make up can look a bit drag queen and that all the women look beautiful when it's toned down.

It’s the contouring I think. Sarah has a sculptor’s hand when it comes to make up, she highlights and shades like a proper pro.

Ashley is officially my favourite. When I first saw her I thought she was too nicey-nice and lacking in personality. At her wedding she seemed to be deferring to her sisters’ and lacking in her own opinions. Forgive me MAFS, for I was wrong! She’s sharp and witty and totally has Troy on a leash. He lashes about trying to claim his superiority ( eg “I’m the best at tennis, but she didn’t point it out at all!”) and occasional halfhearted compliments, but I could watch Ashley’s face all night when he’s scritching her head - it is a picture of patient, amused womanhood. I can almost see her thinking, “This will make a beautiful anecdote.”

She’s so softly spoken and smiley, seems to constantly be looking for the positive and unable to quite believe Troy is Troy, but is also getting to the point of putting up with none of his shit. It is a journey I will treasure.

Troy has social communication issues, and is not a bad man, but genuinely does not understand that women are people. One day he will realise they are. I suspect he needs a fellow IT manager to fall for. He is nowhere near as awful as I thought he would be - I thought his motivation was maybe cruel, but it’s not, he’s just self centred and oblivious. I could grow to be fond of him and his stinky tuna.

I want to see Alycia and Ryan together. He is a gentle soul really - DaviNA bates him and lies to get a reaction and his frustration never reaches the levels of Matt’s anger.

Meanwhile Matt isn’t really angry he is just incapable of recognising his own emotions and whenever he feels uncomfortable he responds angrily. He needs a lot of therapy and I don’t want Alycia damaged by being with him.

In conclusion, I think I’m beginning to bond with this lot - though it might be a trauma bond rather than love

The only one i think is really vile is Thiumbface, but Miserable Sean is a nasty piece of work, too - but nothing like Thumbface's league. You have to fall down a lot of circles in hell to meet the likes of Thumbface.

Does anybody else have issues with the C4 app on their TVs? It's such a pain in the arse, just randomly skips to adverts and then at the end of the adverts, goes back to the episode list instead of playing the rest of the farking episode!

I tried to watch the last ten mins of the last ep about 20 times and have given up and started watching on the link posted upthread. But now I'm open to temptation to watch the rest of the episodes and I am weak. Lawd am I weak.

I watch on the app and it just cuts out randomly and turns itself off, so I have to restart the whole TV, but I suspect that’s just my internet. I usually watch TV on the Sky app on PS4 which is hardwired in so doesn’t rely on WiFi.

I’m also loving Ashley - she was brilliant with the flat pack but I’ll actually warming to mad Troy too!

I think Troy and Ashley may turn out to be THE favourite couple . Not in the same way as Alene and Simon (sigh). But endearing nevertheless.

I think Sarah is beautiful too but it looks as though she goes to bed with her makeup on . She must get through pillow cases at a fair old rate . Isnt she a makeup artist/beautician - which presumably is why she is beautifully made up , although I agree tending towards the drag ?

Jo wasn't far wrong in calling Sean a douchebag , although maybe a tad kind . He said he'd try his best to be friendly for the week even if he felt they weren't going to make it . His action of just making a sandwich for Jo then nothing for himself and just sat there glowering at the wall - did he really think people would feel sorry for him ? It was such a mean spirited action . Eurgh !

As much as I dislike DaviNA (and I really dislike her), I do empathise on the snoring thing. My DH regularly sleeps in another bed because he snores and keeps me awake. It's really miserable being a light sleeper being kept awake by a snorer. It's bad enough if you love that person, let alone if you barely tolerate them. Sharing a bed isn't always the be all and end all (no matter what the experts say!).

And Sean (Jo) saying that calling him a douchebag came out of the blue. So did you choosing to write "Leave"!

And virgin Sean...sleeping in a t-shirt feeds into the theory that he's a Trans identified woman. He may well not be but it's all i can think when I see him. I'm not quite understanding what his issues are and why he got so upset. Was he cheated on?
