How do so many people know what type of woman Sean was looking for? He didn't say anything about her size or weight. I think it was just all over whelming for him. Honestly, if he was anxious or nervous and the 'experts' knew they should not have allowed him onto the programme. So either he hid it well or they simply did not register or care. Shocking.

I don’t think Davina is stunning.

What's with the excessive plastic surgery this series? Davina is just being rude at the dinner. She isn't even making an effort and is only talking to her friends. She seems quite full of herself. I think he would be better suited to one of her friends.

I like Charlene and Patrick, although I'm hoping she calms down a bit. The MIL is scary. I don't think she'd accept any woman for her little boy.

I have just finished series 4, as went on holiday so missed the last week. Sat down tonight ready to start series 5 and episode 1 is missing, only 2 and 3 available? Anyone know anything? They're not scrapping them each day are they.? All of series 4 is still there.

Patrick has the same twitchy mannerisms as my son, it's v endearing. Charlene ( who reminded me of Nadia Sawalha in the intros) is absolutely beautiful, proper stunning. I'm rooting for them. They also look great together.
Davina is EXTREMELY meh. Goes on about wanting an Aussie bloke, then moans when she gets an Aussie bloke. She really is up herself 😕 At least she started to come around to him, once she had gotten over the fact she didn't instantly adore him.

Same here, I can’t get ep1 but this thread fills in any gaps for me. Not sure why they’ve not bothered with Ep1.

Stumbled across episode one while we were away and forced DP to watch it. I got the feeling he wasn’t into it, so I watched episode two without him. When I told him, he replied “how could you?!” so now I have to wait for him to catch up and I’m going to be doing it a few days behind you all unless I can convince him to binge a few in a row with me tomorrow

Is weird isn't it. I've cracked on with Ep 2 anyway! Oh Jo! Gosh shes lovely but is a lot to take, poor Sean he seems so overwhelmed.

I can completely understand why Davina was not impressed at the altar. I'm terribly bad with names - her groom was clearly nervous and did not acquit himself well. She is not however, someone I think I will warm to

I think that Charlene is beautiful and loved her dress. Her entrance to the wedding was rather OTT and she is definitely going to have her work cut out with MIL.

Do the 'experts' seem to have taken geography a bit more into account?

There is something about her that also reminded me of Nadia too, but the little I picked up earlier ( whilst flicking between MAFS and 90 day fiancé) I can’t say I’ve warmed to Davina.

Davina completely misunderstood Ryan’s eye contact comment. I wouldn’t ever assume that was because my boobs were so engaging. Very odd.

I don’t get the obsession with lip fillers. They look really odd to me. But to each their own.

I’m not 100% sure about Patrick. I really like Charlene, but I’m worried his comments about her not being his type are actually a subtle form of negging. I hope she isn’t made to feel like she has to impress him.

They were adorable on their wedding day but I have my doubts about how nice he really is. I hope I’m wrong.

I want to know what Ryan really means by being wild. He’s said he wasn’t into drugs, so does he just mean an alcoholic-level drinker? There must be more to it. Annoyingly I was out of the room when the best man made his speech - what was in it? I could rewatch but I’d have to get through all the ads on the app!

And I really feel for Jo. I think she’s putting a lot of energy into being cheery on camera. I don’t think she can keep it up and just beneath that surface she’s extremely fragile. I don’t think Sean is kind enough for her and I think she’s going to get really hurt by the whole process.

Yes, a non-Polynesian John type would be perfect. John is clearly very annoying, but also a really nice person. I loved that he sat down with his ex-wife and adult kids to tell them he was getting married. It showed that they still have a great relationship which is always a good sign.

Mr VD (how wrong does that sound?!) has got well into the new series. He sat with a dropped jaw at the best man’s speech. His mouth was open in a completely different way when he saw Charlene in her sparkly frock, he reckons she’s totally gorgeous and can’t work out why she hasn’t been snapped up long ago.

I did think the beginning of Matt’s speech to Alycia was adorable. I think I like Matt.

So far only Dean is loathsome.

I’ve struggled to get a handle on who Sean is because he’s so overcome by anxiety that it’s hard to see whether he’s horrible or petrified. I’m reserving judgement on him, though I suspect he might be a pillock.

Mr Eau is also addicted (my Jedi mind powers are strong) but found Charlene so loud, OTT and gurny he was put off. He said if she just calmed the F down, she'd be lovely.
It's interesting how utter stress and pressure like the terrifying wedding to and in front of strangers exaggerates the human reaction. Everything from flight response to over exaggerated expressions and jokiness.
