I can't stand Davina. She thinks far too much of herself.

Mat and Alycia are my favourite couple.

Davina’s mum is lovely. I would be terrified to be the first person Davina had lived with! I hope she gives him a chance. I’m not sure there’s a huge amount to him, but it’s hard to tell beneath the nerves.

I think Davina did misunderstand Ryan when he said he couldn’t make eye contact at the “altar”. She thought it was a lecherous comment about her figure - he just meant he was feeling socially awkward.

MAFS is not the greatest advert for modern Aussie manhood so far. Bogans, larrikins, boys’ boys, mamas’ boys, with a handful of diamonds scattered in there.

I like Patrick and Charlene. May they have a blissful honeymoon, far from the clutches of Evil Ruby.

If you recall in season 5 Nadia didn’t want to kiss AnTHony at the altar either - and look at how that turned out .

There’s been a good sprinkling of “got her/his backs” tonight .

In one article I read Alene seemed to be getting over Simon as she commented that a chap called Ryan in the next series seemed “Hotz “ - whatever that means . I’m assuming she means tonight’s Ryan .

I've caught up now. Fair play to Davina for giving Ryan a chance, which is mainly down to her Mum I think. Ryan's best man is a twat for doing that speech, but at least Ryan looked horrified rather than finding it hilarious.

Charlene and Patrick seem perfect for each other and whilst his mother may be a bit MIL from hell I think a lot of it is from being egged on by the programme makers.

Alicia is so naturally beautiful, a complete contrast to Davina who has ruined her probably lovely face with fillers.

I feel like a grumpy old woman complaining again about young girls just doing awful things to their faces they look awful !

We finished watching! Our take on tonight:
Charlene - just calm down&stop gurning! She seems an attractive, interesting woman when you get past the OTT silliness. Loved her wedding dress. First impression of Patrick was good. His mum was shocking.
Davina - couldn't warm to her. Her protestations about wanting an ordinary Aussie bloke didn't include her wanting him also to be a smooth James Bond and I suspect, lots of $$$.
Ryan. Crumbs. Hints of a genuinely nice bloke in there, mixed with a Mr Bean awkwardness. His best man was nothing short of odd! What was the hinting about being wild all about?! Sooo many drinking references too

Davina is stunning but she's made some very quick judgements on Ryan, however, she appears to be coming round to him.

It's interesting that his comment about not being able to make eye contact was taken by her to be a reference to her boobs!

Ryan seems nice enough.

Charlene is lovely, beautiful, fun, and really so lovely.

I think Patrick is lovely, he and Charlene make a brilliant pair.

Goodness Patrick's mum is horrible.

100% rooting for Patrick and Charlene.
