Ah, Apple! I see you've posted a similar speculation regarding the farm. I hadn't read down that far, and then had to attend to a bra strap, but now have caught up.

I couldn't understand how the farm makes money when all he had a few horses who he fed and brushed every day.
Also on the wedding day, when Susan said she worked on the mines, Sean said so did he!!

I have to assume that the evil black snake in Nadia’s dream wasn’t wearing any socks. Surely Nadia would have taken this as a sign.

I loved Simon's goofiness and not taking himself too seriously from day one. No matter what happens with him & Alene long term, I think they were good for each other during a difficult time. Glad the experts got that right for him.

Shh! Don't tell anyone but I haven't actually watched Psycho. I have read Jane Eyre and visited the Bronte parsonage and written numerous essays on the Brontes so must have just transferred that knowledge to Psycho

I think the farm is a bit of a red herring. Really, Sean can't move because of his DCs but for whatever reason (agreement with ex; agreement with DCs) Sean can't mention them as much so he made it about the horses. Plus they needed some cutaway shots of him and there is literally nothing else to show except him with his horses because he can't show his DCs and he can't show his work because it's at a mine.
Does anyone believe Susan changed her mind because of her chat with her friend? That all felt very contrived to me ie Susan suddenly announcing at the dinner party that she is going to move; telling the cameras she is going to move then one conversation with her friend and she's back to 'nah I prefer the shops and the beach to having a husband, thanks very much'.

I loved Simon’s reaction when he asked Alene if she’d been discussing her decision (and who with).
She replied ‘Your favourite’ (her diabolical best friend) - he smiled and said ‘Ahh’!

That was a lovely moment! He is fab!
Not rattled at all by the monster best friend.

I thought Susan’s chat with her friend was so fake. Even Alene’s bitchy friend wouldn’t be so Direct! (big Andrew’s friend probably would!). “I think I love him” “No! Ridiculous! It won’t work.

I agree about Nadia’s body language not remotely saying she likes Anthony. Simon and Alene and Nick and Sharon snogged like people that liked each other post ceremony. Nadia and Anthony still looked like blocks of ice.

I had a dream last night that I was on MAFS and I'd been paired with Simon but dumped him immediately for his hair. He then had a haircut and I regretted my hastiness but the programme staff told me that I now had to be paired with Spoony!!

I really liked Abandrew at the beginning- how wrong I was! So sad about Sean and Susan. Couldn't care less about the twins. Do you think Jesse had an alcohol problem!? It's just that sometimes when he was talking (after they had drinks) he sounded like he was slurring his words.

I begged but they were like 'he's really happy with Alene now.' I did ask if it looked likely they'd break up but was told no. It was horrendous!

(BTW - did anyone else get the impression that it wasn't actually sean's farm, but his dad's? Just a feeling.)

Yep I mentioned previously about Sean's mum seemingly living with him.
The farm is definitely a very odd setup

I guess she lives with him to look after the animals when he does his fly in fly out mine work.

We don’t actually know whether she lives there, do we? We know she fed the dogs when he was away (someone will have been there tending to the animals while he was away on the show..)
