Jesse, I dug deep but I couldn’t find the door. I gave it my all. I just don’t think I love Jesse, I mean I love him, but I don’t think I’ve been able to let those feelings develop over time.

And have the strip club on stand by for Nick!!

Sharon I think will witter on about ups and downs but then end up saying yes to Thick Nick because Luna Park, photo album etc (but really because she wants to “win” the experiment).

Michelle will damn Jesse with faint praise (“you’ll make somebody a wonderful partner”) before slamming the proverbial Door in his tearful little face 😞

Vanessa’s speech was horrible.

I'm so happy for them but I'm so envious of Alene - the way Simon looks at her. It's definite love.

When her rotten BF said of Simon - there was o instant attraction - I thought - So what? It's 'instant attraction' that gets us stuck with unsuitable people because our hormones are bubbling madly with lust. Very often it's the 'slow-burn' relationship, where people get to know and like each other (and then fancy the whole package and not just the physical body) that is lasting.

I'm not saying that finding someone attractive isn't important- of course it is, but that attraction can often grow. And let's face it - even before his haircut, Simon was attractive (but very boyish). After his haircut he is drop-dead-bloomin' gorgeous!

I agree - that's a huge part of her sexiness. It will last longer than Cheryl's lips or the twins' glamour

She's a gorgeous girl, and looked transfigured - even more beautiful than she usually is. (I can't imagine her ever looking like I do first thing on a morning )

Agree that Andy's speech was great, wanting her to be who she is (can't imagine Spoony or Abandrew saying that with any sincerity) and Vanessa's was much more lukewarm.

Alene and Simon -; can hardly remember what they said, as it was all in their eyes. It warmed my cynical little heart. Whether or not it lasts, it felt real in the moment.

I agree that after Andrew’s acceptance of Vanessa’s personality speech, hers fell flat but then they’re pre written and she didn’t know what he’s say. I was surprised as I thought he wasn’t in to her that much.

It certainly did and it warmed the cockles of my cold, icy heart, too.

I hope it lasts and they are happy together forever - but even if not, I think this is a very meaningful relationship for them both. They are both lovely people.

Alene and Simon are definitely the stars of the show. I feel ridiculously over-invested in them working as a couple. They are both so lovely.

Tonight's twins edition is going to be a total cringe fest. Shaz will go all alpha twin and try and ruin it all for Meesh. Jesse will be confused if there's no actual door and Nick will just be hanging our for a glass of red.

I think all of the couples will go through with the ceremony because they have gone this far they may as well.

Not sure if I'm ready for another season so soon after this one.

Vanessa gives the impression that she is doing Andy a favour by spending time with him.

I do think Michelle will cut loose. What I really want for her is to get a life of her own, a job that isn’t as her sister’s employee, a personality that is something other than Sharon’s shadow. When she has found herself, maybe she will be ready for a committed relationship.

Hate to say it, but I am looking forward to seeing what Spoony and Nadia have to say to one another! I hope they make Spoony go first.

We need to watch Season 5, even if only that we can have another of these threads about it

I think they’re definitely going to make Spoonface go first and we’ll all spend an hour waiting for Nadia to say no. But she won’t.

No it’s Sharon’s company (hence why they caption her “business owner” or similar, and Michelle “commercial cleaner” works for her.

I'm a straggler 😟. Episode 21 is so full and repetitive that I've tried to watch it four times and keep falling asleep. Hoping to catch up.

I'm an episode behind but just had to jump on to ask did anyone else think Nadia got a text from an old bf declaring his undying love? Because she completely flipped from being all over AnTHony to looking like she couldn't bear him and there was no obvious reason for the change. Or is Nadia actually perfectly suited to AnTHony hence why she took his side over the boys' night, backed off from Cheryl and is now playing games? I wonder if she thought she could persuade AnTHony to move to her city, rent a bigger flat and she could escape flat/fridge/job sharing for the rest of her life.
