I have just been reading Feli Lopez on twitter saying Rafa has confirmed he will play Madrid in September.

Spidey I read that before I went out (so nearly missed the end of the Roddick match anyway).

That basically means he won't be playing the US Open doesn't it? Since they overlap.

It really isn't fair. I don't know if London will go ahead this year, but it is unfair that players who may have qualified, will be penalised if they choose one slam over the other.

Of course, the way the US are handling Covid related things, the US open might still not happen.

Might even be an issue again for Madrid/ Rome/ Paris.

We really don't know, I guess.
