DuineArBith · 21/06/2020 21:46

House of Cards - the original version.

RusholmeRuffian · 21/06/2020 21:46

The Sopranos
The Wire
Band of Brothers
Deadwood
Justified

Lucked · 21/06/2020 21:49

The West Wing.

I had the box set which I leant to a sibling who lost (sold) them. Really annoying as it is not on Netflix/Prime. All other shows are so far behind I won’t mention them although I have enjoyed lots on this thread.

Livingthecovidaloca · 21/06/2020 21:52

The Americans! I could watch it over and over!
Deep undercover KGB agents masquerading as a normal all-American family in 80s Washington DC.
It is so good, and so overlooked!

Bluewavescrashing · 21/06/2020 21:53

Is The Handmaid's Tale season 3 any good? I haven't watched it yet. Just started This Is Us - really good so far. I loved:

Stranger Things
Breaking Bad
Cold Feet
Black Mirror
Inside number 9
Peep Show

Bluewavescrashing · 21/06/2020 21:53

Years and Years
Chernobyl

HollyPockett · 21/06/2020 21:54

The West Wing.

I rewatch it at least once a year.

OohKittens · 21/06/2020 21:54

Little fires everywhere (prime)
Big little lies (sky)
Unforgettable
Happy valley
I've just started watching save me and I'm pretty hooked. I tried this is us but it seemed a bit made for tv if that makes sense. I couldn't finish the first episode does it get better?

Whoopsmahoot · 21/06/2020 21:55

Money heist
Breaking bad
Friday night lights
Black mirror
Greys Anatomy

eatsleepread · 21/06/2020 22:00

The Fall on Amazon Prime, and Mindhunter on Netflix.

OneFootintheRave · 21/06/2020 22:02

Recently, loved Succession.

The Wire. Line of Duty. The Last Kingdom. First season of the American House of Cards. Going back a bit, Cracker is still some of the most compelling TV I have ever seen.

movealongnothingheretogawpat · 21/06/2020 22:04

We have loved quite a diverse selection
Tenko
Foyles war
Sharp
Got
Detectorists
Hornblower
The crown
Vera
Shetland
Downton
Call the midwife
Chernobyl
Vikings
Law and order (UK)
The promise
Kidnap and ransom

Just a few I'm sure there's a few I've left out

MarshaBradyo · 21/06/2020 22:04

Oh yes Succession, completely brilliant

AreYouLocal2 · 21/06/2020 22:05

Sisters
The Bridge
The Wire
The Sopranos
Mad Men
Parks and Recreation

movealongnothingheretogawpat · 21/06/2020 22:06

Thick of it
Line of duty

noxestdormienda · 21/06/2020 22:10

Most already mentioned: The Wire, Sopranos, West Wing and ER for me. Only one not yet mentioned is Spiral (called Engrenages in the original French language version). Crime series set in Paris, and has to be my favourite police procedural ever (apart from The Wire, anyway, which is so much more than a police procedural).

TumbledGlass · 21/06/2020 22:10

Line of Duty, but I didn't enjoy the last season as much as the others

Ozark

Sons of Anarchy, I really didn't want it to end 😭

littlelilypad · 21/06/2020 22:11

Succession! Hands down the best show I've ever seen.

Also enjoyed Mad Men, Handmaids Tail, Fargo and the first season of Westworld

Samtsirch · 21/06/2020 22:11

These are quite old, but I enjoyed;
Wire in the blood ( Robson Green)
Kay Mellor’s ‘Fat Friends ‘
Bad Girls ( prison drama)

bobbikato · 21/06/2020 22:12
