E4 have been showing it in the evenings and you can watch all the seasons online on their catch up.

Oh the nostalgia.

I forgot how much I shipped Xander and willow!
Also, it really makes me wish I had friendhips like buffy does.

Who did you guys ship?
Oh and Angel, Spike or Reilly for buffy?
I'm team spike lol.

I think drewcilla was my favourite character of all, think she is just a great female villain.

Buffy and Angel on DVD are a worthy investment. Me and my massage therapist were laughing about how Buffy has been the best antidote to lockdown 😂

Decided to move onto nature documentaries in my next part of getting through the pandemic. Buffy and Angel, always in my heart though 😂

I'm rewatching buffy..again.

But I have 2 questions...

  1. When buffys mum dies Angel comes to the cemetery to comfort Buffy, but he comes at night. Same when he and Riley had their to do.

Now I thought Buffy gave him that ring of whatever that meant he could be in daylight and not get crispy??
So what happened to it??

  1. When Buffy drowned for a minute, and died, Kendra was called to replace Buffy. When Kendra died, Faith was called.

So why isn't another slayer called when Buffy sacrifices herself in place of Dawn?

2 I wondered that for a bit thinking they should keep killing and reviving them and creating an army of slayers! But it only counts the first time (joss whedon apparently confirmed this).

Angel destroys the ring in an episode of Angel.

When Buffy dies for the first time, she triggers the new Slayer, Kendra, and her death activates Faith. The next slayer would be activated by Faith’s death - Buffy’s life or death is irrelevant now as far as the Slayer line is concerned.

i was keeping up with e4 when it was on once a night, but now its on twice a night i am well behind, only up to season 3 now (Faith just arrived)

Mum & I used to watch it together.
Now my Mum's 78, got Alzheimer's, is in a dementia care home & if one of the other residents is having a bizarre moment she'll make a comment about 'getting the wiggins'.
(I know it's a phrase from the 1950s so her era but she never said it before watching Buffy!)

I am feeling the brunt of having indulged in Buffy as I am SO behind on household jobs and wondering why Blush. I'd watch it all again though.

There is an episode in Angel where he fights a demon whose blood mixes with his and it makes him human- just so happens Buffy is in that episode and they eat ice cream, walk in the sun, sex sex sex it’s a favourite episode.

I’m a bit late to the party but oh my god major fan.
Convention visits and life size cardboard cutouts of Angel was the peak of my fandom.

Favourite episode- the Body.
I love Anya in the body I feel like we finally get to see her humanity.

I went to a huffy convention im 2001 I think maybe 2002 and they previewed the episode where Tara was shot such a shock but nice to see it with 100’s of other fans.

Favourite bad guy?
I think mine is Caleb he was genuinely terrifying.

Anyone remember the scene where Glory tears the wall down to get to the key and Buffy runs away carrying Dawn- to,s clearly a doll and is flipping hilarious watching it bounce around.

Joss Wheedon is amazing.
Did anyone go on to read season 8 in comic form?

I have been rewatching Angel on All4/4OD/whatever it's called.

He is such a wooden actor! They keep going on about him 'brooding' but it's just his one dimensional acting. He's ok in the episode when he's a puppet but otherwise... And the episodes where they make him be 'funny' (dancing at a party, doing karaoke) just emphasize how crap he is.

Buffy, like Firefly, was so much more fun and kept you guessing that it's hard to see that they're by the same person.

Just happened upon this thread by accident: And am so overjoyed it is ridiculous!!! I discovered Buffy when it was originally shown. I am now 63, so........ Point is, at the time, I had lost everything. Long term rel; long-term job, house, etc etc. I had lived on the streets for a while.

Someone I did not know gave me a place to sleep, and a roof, and her kids to teach me of many things. One of these was Buffy. Best thing that ever happened to me.

Anyway...... The very lovely Eliza Dushku! Faith the Slayer. Series three when Faith arrives and teaches Buffy about FUN.!! And did anyone else call Buffy "Bee".

For those who haven't watched "Angel", please do It is an excellent series. I would imagine the DVDs would be cheap; or ask your local library?

I met Dushku at a ComicCon in.. Birmingham I think. I was on the way to go for a smoke; took out Zippo. I heard "Oh thank FUCK!!" as I was grabbed by the elbow and propelled round the back.... She was lovely. Absolutely tiny.. She was very easy to get on with, laugh with, just lovely. and totally unaware of how very beautiful she was.

Bugger...... this means I need to go up to the loft, find the dvds.... And all at my age!

I am sure the fanfic sites will still be around in the ether......

Now last nights is gogglebox!
Looks to be the same for buffy too!

I know I can watch but on all4 but then I have to watch the adverts!!

Yes! I came here to see if it was just me, Big Bang instead of Buffy since Monday too. I have Sky and wondered if my Sky box was on the blink.

I could download the missing Buffy episodes from Catch up but not the 2 missing Angel episodes, I am also keen to avoid the All4 adverts
