Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

Casualty was very powerful. It came at it from a slightly different angle to Holby but both did an amazing job of telling the story. I guess it's all just to raw at the moment with Casualty whereas Holby was shown where there was more normality in real life.

That clip is great - I'd heard about the perspex screens and body doubles but didn't realise how much work goes into the finished product. I loved the bit where they were suggesting the screen needed cleaning.

Her husband definitely makes a passable Kian from that angle!

He's very tall though!
