Am I the only one who things the wrong person went out?

I know it is only the first episode, but there does not seem to be as many big personalities as the first series. I did enjoy it though.

The amount of plastic surgery Jake has had to his face is shocking!

But I'm SO excited that it's back!

No I think out of the two lips Jakes was better, but if you look at the face challenge Jakes was worse.

It was obvious they’d do everything to save Jake. He’s got a “story” ie the one not taking it serious, he’ll have a talking to and start producing more. His face was shocking. I mean the make up with yellow flowers etc was just rubbish compared to the standard of the others and I don’t see how it took him as long to produce that as the others?! Ashley was robbed.

I love this program. I never wear make up. I don’t like drag or all the lip fillers. I’m not really a fan of Stacey (her mannerisms mainly) and I cannot stand the female judges “ding dong” bs. But I still love this programme A similarly I have no interest in fashion and cannot sew so much as a button one but love Sewing Bee

Yeah he’s brilliant. Very deadpan. Loved him in his sparkly tracksuit this week. Funny I like the presenter and with judges in sewing bee but really don’t care for the presenter or either judge in glow up (make judge would be my favourite if had to choose!)

Except he didn't fulfill the brief june. His lip wasn't remotely "ombre", even though it was tidier

The girl's may have been "reverse ombre"* and with a little bit of bleeding of the colours, but there was distinct shading. A much better job withi the specifications of the brief.

*and as far as I know, "ombre" just means graduating colours - nobody says "revers ombre" except "ding-dong" wumman.

Penguin - that's what I thought - he was a "character" that they could get more mileage out of. Look at the way he turned the tears on (I HATE that sort of "oh-poor-me" emotional manipulation.

Very unfair to poor Ashley, though.

Some of the faces - telling their stories - were amazing!

Jake has the potential to be very irritating.
I hate the face off, the challenge should be what they go out on.

Face-off is a waste of time.

I felt the same in the last series, there was a guy that was in the face off loads and always pulled it out of the bag. He was the ken doll one that spent hours on his own make up every day. Jake should have gone because as my DS put it 'mum even we could have done better than that' it was the worst piece I have seen from either series and looked a mess.

If I had been a model I wouldn't have been able to have been touched by those nails so I'm glad he was told to take them off.

Some of the other pieces were really amazing though! Very excited that it is back!

There was a young woman on the previous series as well, who also was kept on far beyond when she should have gone. She ended up in the face-off week after week and always stopped by the skin of her teeth!

God knows how - some of her offerings were pathetic! Not even bad in an imaginative or exciting way - just tedious rubbish.

I was glad to see his nails go, too. I wouldn't want them near my eyes if I were a model. And his fish lips are appalling! (Though at least not likely to blind anyone.)

Those lips look incredibly sore, almost like you've had an allergy reaction. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether this is true? It isn't a fashion I understand at all. There are lots that I wouldn't do and lots I'm not personally keen on but have an each to their own attitude but this one I'd be so sad if one of my children felt the need to do.

On another note I thought the girl from Hong long was awesome and the Irish one's was fab. The girl in the red chair was frightening and therefore also brilliant. Sorry, haven't learnt their names yet!

Well - I thought that Jake should have been in the Face Off along with Bernie.

There don't seem to be any middling ones- contestants were either really rubbish or fantastic this week.

When we get down to the final furore five, the judges will have a job on their hands, I think.

Jake must related to the judges, his icon look was rubbish.
The Alien and and the Baldy Bowie ones where my favourite along with the Mulan one and Marilyn Manson.
I just knew Berny was going to do badly in the fashion week one, it always happens when they boast that they've done something before
