We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

Things have moved so quickly for Jeremy, but after all his disappointments, it's nice to see him happy.

Donna is talking about moving away. She and Dave are at odds on their marriage.

This is the second dream wedding of Colette’s that Joe has mucked up.

That's it exactly Donna, I mouthed the words myself as you said them...she grew up and Dave never has.

It's the sad Soldier, Soldier music. We are going to have a heart-rending moment, I fear. Dave wants her to stay and be a family, but he knows she doesn't love him. Poor Dave.

Never understood why we didn’t get this for Elvis.

Ah, a sad little ending to an era. I think that's the last of them both. They were there at the beginning and now they're gone.

Well there's the end of that series. I honestly can't remember if that's the last we see of Dave or not. Did he go off with Paddy/Jerome to do their singing after this series? I know there are a lot of new characters in the next series.

What are we doing next week ladies? Are we carrying on with Soldier Soldier or going back to OG?

The really sad thing is - would Donna have become the person she is if she hadn’t married Dave and met all these interesting women? Really, she owes Dave, big time.

Well, it's certainly true eejit that Donna has travelled around the world and seen a lot more of life since she married Dave. The difference is that it widened her horizons but seems to have done little to change him.

So, if we don't watch the next series of Soldier, Soldier, which series of OG do we want to watch?

My choice would be series 1 or 2.

It might be nice to go back to OG for a while. Why not do series 1, then 2?

But either are fine by me.
