The time flew by today watching Letitia and Adam chatting, what lovely people!
Letitia happy at home with her wellies on talking to her veg, and Adam was a lot nicer than I expected somehow, very genuine.
Love seeing the sets and I didn't realise that people live in houses just behind the EE set, I thought in was tucked away in an industrial estate or something.

Mrsjayy · 30/06/2020 19:40

I laughed at Letitia having a pop at sharon's hair oh and her script in the coffin 😂

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/06/2020 19:55

Didn’t she’ll sleep with grant and that’s the father of mark

Who was the old woman in the kitchen with Pauline and Arthur?

nildesparandum · 30/06/2020 21:16

The old lady in the kitchen, if my memory is right, is a relative of Lou Beale (Pauline's mother). I can't remember her name but she suddenly turned up and made herself at home.

SoupDragon · 30/06/2020 21:20

Yes, I recognised her but can't think who she is. I wasn't an avid watcher in this era!

Mrsjayy · 30/06/2020 21:24

Lou Beale was Paulines mum I've not seen it yet so I am just guessing that's who was in the scene It was her house The Fowler's lived with her.

Mrsjayy · 30/06/2020 21:25

She I's who Louise Mitchell is named after because Lisa tried to pass her off as Mark Fowler's baby.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/07/2020 13:43

I did recognise her

Same with the bloke holding Brolly over Pauline and Arthur

Want to call him Greg or old name Like that but isn’t Greg

Stops woffling

SoupDragon · 01/07/2020 14:33

It wasn't Lou Beale.

SoupDragon · 01/07/2020 14:33

This woman was "pointier" than Lou 😂

SoupDragon · 01/07/2020 14:44

IPlayer for the credits and google tells me she was Nellie Ellis (Auntie Nellie) made her first appearance 23 December 1993. She was a regular until 1998 and returned briefly for the funeral of Ethel Skinner in September 2000, last appearing in 7 September 2000. Nellie was the cousin of Lou Beale and was a gossipy lady and liked to be in charge. Nellie was played by Elizabeth Kelly.

gower4 · 01/07/2020 14:45

The old woman is Aunty Nellie.

Mrsjayy · 01/07/2020 15:23

Aunty who Confused

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/07/2020 22:40

Martin & Kush

iknowimcoming · 08/07/2020 09:52

Just watched Martin and Kush, they seem such lovely guys and real friends - interesting that they've said that lockdown happens in EE! I suppose it's an easy way to get back into filming as they can be in lockdown bubbles with small groups.

Mrsjayy · 08/07/2020 10:16

They seem lovely guys really enjoyed it on Monday. Ballum next week

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/07/2020 14:18

Think they have to show lockdown but prob the end of it so lush with kids kat and slaters

Or Martin and ruby - was that right - wasn’t that his wife’s best friend

Tho Stacey obv didn’t care and shagged bee husbands bf and ended preg

Loved it. All those fantastic characters, The Masods, Minty, Heather. Just thinking All those murderers in the Square, Stacey, Ben and Bobby, their prison sentences were tiny.

southeastdweller · 14/07/2020 09:11

I just watched yesterday's episode of Emmerdale, which was filmed in May. It's a bit distracting seeing the characters socially distance themselves from each other but it's not a big problem. I don't know why EastEnders have taken so long to get going again when logistically both programmes have similar challenges.

GattinaGattona · 14/07/2020 10:49

When is filming going to start again? I miss it Sad

Mrsjayy · 14/07/2020 10:53

They started filming last week or maybe the week before so be back soon hopefully.
