We are living in unusual times

Benoit and Stan had a chat on Instagram last night of which I didn't understand one word but watched the whole thing anyway.

I hacked a couple of inches off my hair yesterday!

I trim the ends of mine, because it's so curly/fizzy, you can't tell if I mess up .

I’m still undecided on my hair strategy!

This whole situation has made me want to dye my hair bright red. And I haven't dyed it for years.

And now I can't go and buy hair dye [grin.

Re hair/eyebrows/roots etc. I was in the queue for the Boots website for 7 hours today!! I mean, I was doing other things at the same time. But honestly! Managed to order some stuff but the hair situation is definitely a tricky one...

I am going to let my hair go wild - it's all white & will be looking like the wicked witch of the north at the end of this & might just start behaving like her as well. So unlike moi!!!

Just been to Aldi to do weekly shop - got there just after it opened - there was a small queue outside and they were letting people in 5 at a time. They had most things (including toilet rolls) and it was probably a more pleasant experience than usual because it wasn’t so busy

I think I need to tidy the house - I’m still waiting for all this spare time that I’m supposed to have .

Catherine mentioned cross stitch and jigsaws on the podcast Spidey . They were also talking about which players they would like to self isolate with - the general consensus was Diego Schwartzman because of his dogs! They didn’t comment on who they would not like to self isolate with! I still think I would go with Stan . Rafa might be a bit too healthy for me!

I fell down a conspiracy theory rabbit hole last night because of a thread on here. Apparently the internet is going off for 10 days from 1st April

I have had my walk with the dog and dd2. We saw 3 people. It is very strange. I really need to cut the grass. But am putting that off until absolutely necessary .

Did my usual weekly shop this morning, plus one for my 86 year old dad. DH and I went in together - I had one larger trolley for us and he had a smaller one for dad's shopping. We had to queue for about 1 hour 20 minutes because they were only letting in 59 people at any one time. I left DH in the queue whilst I went to the bank and then queued for about 20 mins to get into Superdrug. All quite calm, although DH said I missed a bit of a barney when someone refused to queue! Got your trolley, newly sanitised, when you went in. A fair amount of stuff, although loo rolls, pasta and rice were thin on the ground.

I do not want to repeat that too often but at least the sun was shining. Queuing for over an hour in the pouring rain would have been a whole different ball game

I see that Djok is donating 1m euros to Serbia for ventilators and other equipment and kits. Apparently, he has connections in China and Germany who can help
So, he has slightly redeemed himself

And now Boris and Matt Hancock have tested positive.

He certainly seems well stocked with food and wine

Haven't done much today but had a lovely chat with DS. He's in France & they are a week ahead of us in lockdown. He says everyone there says the second week is deffo easier as it becomes the 'norm' & everyone is getting over the shock of it.

That’s funny magi . Jet2 have still been sending me emails which I thought was a bit insensitive - although the latest one was about holidays for next year!

Hope that your family in France are OK. It’s weird how everything does just become normal - like queuing outside a supermarket 2m from the other person this people seemed like a relatively normal thing to do
