I'm doing Mammy's Mother's Day pudding this Sunday finally. It's black Forrest pudding. Like summer pudding but black Forrest.

Fourq The Penny Tray was a tray of sweets kept under the counter of the local shop. Everything was a penny (and some things were two for a penny). All things like fruit salads, black jacks, lollies, jelly worms, aniseed balls, big bubble gums, flying saucers etc.

We used to get 5p for the Penny Tray if we'd done all of our jobs on a Saturday.

DH is trying to teach me how to say millefeuille properly. I am not winning.
