Very disappointing. Such a good cast, but a ridiculous storyline. It might have made a bit more sense if she had hinted at scandals in the village without mentioning names, and then everyone would be wondering who it could be. A shame, but I won't be watching next week.

I thought Maggie over reacted when she left the family home for the night to get some space and have some thinking time.

Rather ironic as she refuses to respect other people's requests for her to piss off, and insists on staying right in front of them offering her self-serving, wheedling "apologies".

BTW Purple, when you unwrap her, she will looks at you like bitter wouldn't melt in her little pink licky-tongued mouth.

She shamelessly plays the "cute" card, purple.

She is a tasmanian devil in doe-soft-eyed, pretty-faced, floppy-eared, shiney-coated, licky-tongued, giant-pawed spaniel clothing. And she gets away with murder . . .

Try as we might, we cannot harden our hearts against her as she do often deserves.

I'm going to watch the final episode just for completion but I think the budget could have been better spent on a different story. Lord knows there are plenty of great short stories and novels that would make fab feelgood dramas yet all we mainly get are constant remakes of classics and unending police/maverick detective dramas with women and children as victims.

WeWant Yes, I'll watch the last one for the same reason (closure) but there could be so many better stories the budget could have been spent on.

Karen coming on to Peter seems just as bad second time around.

Maggie is a really irritating, self-obsessed character and I'm really starting to dislike her.

And very unfairly, dislike Dawn French, too because she's playing her.

I really, really want to punch her lights out!

Awesome final episode! Have really enjoyed this series and hope it gets a second series (minus the "Polish girl", her boyfriend, her dad and the kid she was babysitting - replace them all with new characters played by better actors!)

Sad to see it end. Got me through these troubling times.

We really enjoyed this - yes it was daft but that was the point! It looked beautiful, likeable actors and about the level my brain can handle at the moment!

Oh dear, I thought the last episode was awful. But it was pretty much what I expected.

It all came right in the end, everyone lived happily ever after and the baddies got their comeuppance, and the the dreadful Maggie was back in everyone's good books. What a load of rubbish.

Very, very weak, unlikely story lines and equally poor acting.

It was certainly a very strange series

If we get a 2nd series I'll only agree to the 'Polish' girl going if she takes Maggie's annoying DIL with her

If there is a 2nd series I won't be bothering.
