Am I the only one who is really irritated by his misogynistic comments? Tonight he made a 'joke' about Meghan Markle selling a candle smelling like a vagina a la Gwyneth Paltrow.
And when his sniggering husband asked what a vagina smells like he replied 'rancid'. Angry
This is not the first time he's made nasty comments, he's a really unlikable snide git.

I like the Malones too - mainly because of Dave the dog.
I was pretty taken aback by the 'rancid' remark tonight too. There's always been quite a nasty undertone to Stephen's jokes imo. He's made some pretty unpleasant comments about women before. Maybe it grates all the more because Channel 4 considers itself uber woke but as usual misogyny gets a pass.

Yeah I was really put off by some of his nasty comments last series, I can't believe they've renewed him again. He comes across as quite small minded and unpleasant.

He used to be quite amusing and self-deprecating, but over the years he's become a very unpleasant, arrogant man. I've no idea why they keep him.

He was better when he was with his boyfriend turned friend. I think there was a story where he bullied him badly in rl.

Love the malones, Giles and Mary, the siddiquis, Mary and marina, Sophie and Pete have grown on me.

Stephen is the only one I dislike. I am not fond of the couple in Brighton, but I don’t have any issues with them staying
However ,Stephen needs to go. Watching him actually makes me feel uncomfortable

I didn't watch last night but have often found his comments to be a bit spiteful. The Siddiquis are my favourites, followed by Jenny and Lee and Giles and Mary.

I'd have preferred Chris to stay on with Gogglebox rather than Stephen. They were ok together but since Chris left Stephen seems to have got more and more crude and unpleasant. I often think if I was a client of his at the salon I'd be thinking of going somewhere else after hearing some of the comments he makes, not just about what they're watching, but the people he knows in his working life.

There's also not much watchable interaction between him and his husband. Daniel seems to be there just as a foil for the Stephen show.

The Michaels family are the ones that make me switch off. The parents try very hard to hide their bigotry but fail miserably. And the mums faux ditziness is cringe worthy.

Can't stand Stephen. He thinks he's so funny, yet he makes me cringe. I used to like Chris, he was funny and they seemed to work together, never liked his mum and I don't really think his husband gets a look in. Best are the Siddiques, Malones, Lee and Men and Pete and Sophie.

I don’t mind the bald guy! He looks like he has a permanent resting bitch arsehole face but I find him funny.

The WORST is the way that Rylan talked to his mother on the celebrity edition. I know his shtick is bitchy but if I ever talked to my mother like that (on television, no less!) I would have had the taste slapped out my mouth!

He's a wanker. I liked his mate but the interaction between him and his mum and now him and his husband is weird. Like they're only there because he pressured them into it, neither looked/look comfortable. But mostly yeah he's a wanker who often says nasty things. And his dog is shit.

Tell you who else is weird is that family with the mum and daughter and I presume step dad and the couple were actually talking on camera about "bed noises" they made 😮😮😮😮🤢🤢🤢🤢 in front of the daughter 🤢🤢🤢😮😮😮 Even being charitable and thinking the motivation was trying to persuade themselves that they were still young and sexy, 🤢🤢, it was mad inappropriate.

I also like the bald guy family. He has fascinating eyebrows and they all come across at least as though they're nice to each other. Favourites are Jenny and Lee and the Siddiquis though. The former because their interaction makes me laugh and the latter because their observations make me notice things I might not have done and I mostly agree with them. Giles and Mary are good value too, even though I know it's mugging: they're funny.
