Liar - ready for season 2

I just watched season 1. I came across it in the home page of ITV hub and didn’t realise season 2 is due to come out but that explains why it was there...

Anyone else excited for series 2 or have any theories on how Andrew died?

Can't bear the actress playing the new female cop - when she shoved some gum in her gob and started chewing, that was me done! God knows why directors etc think someone chewing gum or eating while talking is a thing we want to see .... so I'll never find out what happened. Meh.

I usually like Katherine Kelly but the character she's playing is obnoxious and unrealistic. Too much mouth twisting and silly smirks.

I watched season one last week so everything is fresh in my mind
I think regarding the man with the beard we need to be clear: there are two.
There's the guy Laura is dating who also seems to have a speedy past of putting someone in hospital.
Then there's the nurses husband who is a fisherman I think but it looks like they are Laura's neighbours. So I'm thinking he may have planted the key knowing if she is out etc.
It is deffo a whosdunnit.
I'm enjoying it anyway.

Didn’t like the KK character. She’s a nasty piece of work.

I think I need to rewatch Season 1 - is that still possible? I could remember most of the key points but got distracted when Porthos from The Musketeers turned up and I couldn't remember whether he'd been in the first series and thus whether he had a back story. Also had completely forgotten the storyline between the sisters (was there an affair of some sort?)

My main gripe, as a teacher, was the police casually interviewing Laura in the hall, in full view of anyone (including pupils) wandering by! As if SLT wouldn't have made sure that that happened in an office.

I only watched S1 a few weeks ago so it’s probably still on ITV hub. Laura’s sister (the doctor who worked with Andrew) was seeing Laura’s boyfriend, the police officer. Laura broke up with him at the start of S1 but there had been something going on with Sis and him and then her husband threw her (doctor sister) out when it came out.

Someone posted a recap further up I think.

Might watch ep 1 of this season again today while DH is out!

The detective is awful. I know it's not real but there's no compassion for Laura as a rape victim ... The male detective is trying to stop her being so fucking awful but it's making it really really uncomfortable to watch.

I’m watching ep 1 again. I forgot the detective was from Corrie too. Laura’s voice is a bit annoying. The key thing was about far fetched but suggests the sister was to blame. I’m sure it won’t be that simple.

There must be a reason for KK's obvious dislike of Laura, are we going to see a link with Laura's past? When she said "I don't care", about Laura's rape, it sounded so unbelievable. This series just isn't working for me so far.

I loved series one, was so excited to see series two was going to be on. So far I am underwhelmed - the time hopping is annoying, the coppers are ridiculous, they are really pushing the believability factor.

It’s just too silly, whereas series one was gripping.
