Just saw his Instagram story where he has come out as gay. Very well written letter. Hope he and his family are ok.

Could be lots of reasons why she's not yet disclosed anything publicly - it could affect her divorce settlement, she may feel this is a private matter, wants to talk to her kids first, could be trying to find a decent PR to represent her...who knows.

What has been on mainstream media in the past few days that would be a ‘shocker’ if connected in any way to PS, his professional popularity & commercial commitments?

@UniversalAunt I’m rubbish at joining up the dots on things like this - are you just asking a question or (it sounds like) do you have something specific in mind?

I think if she was as supportive as he says then the pr company he is using would also cover her. She wouldn't need a seperate one. And he says the kids know, I'd have to assume that's accurate and he's not let them find out in thr media.

In addition divorce settlements are not punitive, the law passes no judgement on behaviour. So her publicly supporting him or not would not impact that.

Bottom line is if she was supportive she'd have st least issued a brief simple written statement, if not appeared beside him on the sofa. She's not even issued a brief statement of support. Not even a sentence.

So definitely more going on behind the scenes, than Philips sobbing, hand holding, hugging display where he goes on and on about just how wonderful she is, would have us believe.

I always watch Dancing on Ice, but not looking forward to tomorrow's now - it'll be all about him, even more than it ever was. We don't even get away from him in the ad breaks, ffs!

Some comments here are awful. I've had TWO children. Whilst knowing I'm gay. I was too ashamed to come out. I am now however and it's the best thing I did for myself.

It was so cringey and self-indulgent, both him and Holly. All he did was send out a message that being gay is a MASSIVE DEAL and needs a big announcement, it doesn't. It's nobodies business and PS's sexuality is of no interest.

I couldn't believe Holly asked him about dating. Confused As if his poor wife hadn't been humiliated enough, such bizarre behaviour.

Wow wow wow. So reading on Twitter further does give an indication of why he might have been forced out the closet further.

And when tabloids know something they aren’t allowed to out it, so instead they give huge hints dancing around the subject. Interesting reading:

I cannot bear Philip Scholfield. This has absolutely nothing to do with his sexuality.
He is a narcissist
Definitely believe that something was due to come out.
Now he will sell a story to a newspaper( give the proceeds to a charity) . This has all been done to save his career.
