Just saw his Instagram story where he has come out as gay. Very well written letter. Hope he and his family are ok.

@JJPC I wondered if the turning tide had meant the story was going to break and he is simply announcing before The Sun does a big sordid reveal.

To be honest, I like him less. I do t think it’s brave to live a lie like this and then announce it to have everyone gushing at you. It must be heartbreaking for his wife, even if she’s known for a while she can’t have known forever.

It has honestly never crossed my mind that he is gay. His sexuality was never my main concern. I do think that the happy family response he is painting will not be the whole truth. His wife must be devastated. I have had some huge doubts about him with the recent accusations. I have to say Ruth was either an outstanding actor this morning or she is a very decent human being to be so supportive.
