Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4 and hoping it might not be long now. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

Oh dear, poor Jeremy is ringing around trying to find a date for the summer ball.

Yes, I have memories of Dave and the dodgy videos in Germany again.

Jeremy is trying to arrange a date... poor Jeremy!

Michael in his undies. Marsha is picking up on Michael's dissatisfaction. Me thinks she's a little disappointed in his er...lack of enthusiasm.

Marsha suspects there is something amiss with Michael. Little does she know he's met up with an old contact from Bosnia.

Not only does Jeremy have problems with finding a date but he seems to be frightened of heights.

More war games in the model village.

Jeremy has a lot to content with doesn't he. I wonder if he really should have chosen the army as a career.

Sgt Connor has had a sense of humour bypass.

Ah the lovely Major Taylor is back again.

Major is unhappy with Jeremy.

Major Jim (can't remember his surname) has been posted to Catterick, so where does this leave him and Joy?

Meanwhile, back in some restaurant or posh pub, Marsha and Colette have a heart to heart.

Joy's chap has got a posting to Catterick - what will it mean for them?

OK, so I remember what is coming with this storyline and Marsha in the bar and I'm going to say that I don't think she's a very good singer - despite what Collette says.

Shifty Michael is on the phone to his other woman - for goodness sake Michael, pull yourself together.

Meanwhile, Joy is in a posh restaurant with Jim - who I reckon looks like a young Mr Hudson (Gordon Jackson)

Jeremy doesn't seem to be the greatest fit for army life but then again, neither does Sadie. I know she's a trained doctor, but when you think of Molly or Georgie, they are more army suited.

Marsha is singing. It seems to go down well with the audience.

I didn't realise that Joy was living with Marsha and Michael. Oh here she goes singing "Cry me a river" - sorry but it's not that good.

Oh go on Marsha - poke Michael with a stick! Here he goes being rude, dismissive and self-centred again.

Michael is in a strop about Marsha out on the tiles last night. She tells him she did a singing turn and his only concern is that it's not what an officer's wife does. She's been offered a job she says and his answer is that she's too long in the tooth to do it! He deserves the slap in the face she gave him.

Oh I can't stand Michael right now. Serve him right if Marsha ends up singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" in some local dive bar. Ha! Ha!

Michael arranges to meet the aid worker from Bosnia.

Meanwhile back at the base, Steve and Joe flog the knock off wine to the colour sergeant in charge of the drinks for the ball.

Oh no, Jeremy asks Sadie to go to the ball with him. (Non seq but she really does have strange eyes and teeth).

So Joe and Farrell are flogging their off the back of a lorry wine to the Officer's Mess.

Jeremy has no date and it's so embarrassing being turned down by Doctor Sadie as well.

Hold on it's Joe Farrell and Evans. I couldn't remember his name properly.

Joe realises the wine is stolen.

Michael is out for dinner with whatever she's called. He can turn on the charm when he wants.

More army training exercises, yawn yawn.
