I’m impressed they even remembered Stuart was an addict. They usually drop those stories fairly quickly. Although it’s clearly only been mentioned because Linda was going to the meeting- otherwise we’d probably never have any more mention of Stuart attending a meeting. They need to keep those little stories going in the background with little mentions every now and again.

I thought Linda was doing the typical Avoidance tactics.

Yes we have seen him at meetings but only as a plot device- when it’s relevant to another characters story- not as a stand-alone background thing that’s just part of his life IYSWIM.

I've heard of most rhyming slang but never heard of smother before! I was a tad confused!
The eye on the ceiling is the writers trying to compete with Netflix and all the those stalker dramas that are popular at the moment ( and old films too) just my observations but I can't recall them doing this before ( maybe a stalker story , but not spying like this!)

Nancy, bless him! I do love to hear a bit of cockney rhyming slang myself , but I agree that some of Danny Dyer's could be made up sometimes! It's sad seeing angry Mick as I prefer cheeky chappie happy Mick myself.
